KEEP THE FOOL ALIVE by batuOZ

[raw]
made by batuOZ for Ludum Dare 46 (JAM)

Hi. This is my first Ludum Dare game and it is also my very first game. I am learning the unity and coding for 2 months. Sorry for non-exsistence of sound effects.

I am wondering your critics :) PLEASE PLAY IN FULLSCREEN !!! :D

I really liked the art of this game
However i thought it was a bit too hard, and the mage at the top mad the game a little too difficult.
Very good for a first game though, keep up the work

Some audio would be nice, I think that would be the finishing touch! Great job overall!

Nice game for your first time. Maybe changing the blocks positions can make a better level but still it's a nice game!

First off, this is very impressive for the first game that you have ever made. I really like the artwork, and I like playing as an orc. However, I think it would improve a lot if you could add a little bit more variation to the stream of enemies, because I found that there was one spot where I could just stand and throw the ax to kill both the orb that is shot and the orcs walking towards the guy.

Not bad for you first game. I did find it a little hard though as the sourcerer's orb was very hard to hit with your axe's without killing the fool.

I like the art as well, much better than I could do!

This seems like a good concept, but the lack of variety makes it repetitive very quick. Maybe add different or larger levels with more enemy types?

Nice job on getting all that art in 48 hours. Follows the theme and is a fun little game to pass a few minutes on. Would have like a little more variety or better way to stop the enemy at the top from throwing his darn spell :)

Nice art style, pretty good after just 2 months of coding, the mage was annoying :D

Lovely art style. Game is fun albeit challenging. After two months this is a great achievement.

The thing which drew me in was the artstyle, it has a really unique feel to it and it really made the game stand out to me.
Other then that the game itself was pretty good for a first time. The only point of critique I have is that the throwing of the weapon felt a bit clunky so that might be something which might be fun to try out in the future to make your games a bit better
