Bug Fixes:

  • Due to HTML build issues the entire project was moved from Unity 2020.1.0b5 Beta to Unity 2019.3.5f1. The HTML version is now working.

Due to the worldwide lock-down you have decided to adopt a dog. Little did you know it was a dog from hell. Keep it fed and happy, or it will be over before you know it.

Controls:

Left Click - Interact

Right Click - Throw ball/Drop Object

Left/Right (A/D) - Pan Camera

Scroll Wheel - Zoom

Instructions:

Pick up the food(green)/water(blue) bowl and take it to the corresponding filling location to fill the bowl. Place the bowl on the corresponding mat for the dog.

You can pickup and throw the ball(orange) to increase the dog's happiness.

If the dog is not happy he will chew on objects(red) in the house.

Hey! I played through and had some fun. Interesting idea!

I liked the idea of having to manage hunger, thirst, and happiness for your pup - all are definitely necessary. I wish that picking items up was easier, though admittedly I didn't use the scroll feature.

I did find that once I got the core loop down I was in a stalemate pretty quick. Perhaps if the dogs health regenerated so long as all its needs were met, and the dog grew (needed more of each need) over time, it would help.

The control/robot movement are little hard. **The fact that the dog brings me the ball was amazing :smile:** but I didn't understand how can I pass the first minute (all my game end to the 51th seconds).

Seems like I couldn't actually throw the ball. It just gets set on floor. Was there something I didn't understand? I saw the controls.

This is an interesting approach to a virtual pet game, it reminds me of The Sims in many ways. It took me a minute to figure out what to do, maybe I should've read the instructions first :smile: I like that you took the time to include path finding. Good job on this compo game!

Nice little game, I think the dog should prioritize drinking rather than die of thirst while chewing furniture!

Neat game! Something about the controls felt a bit stiff, but overall really nice! :) Good work! Some sound would be good, though!

A bit unfinished but I was able to feed and give water to the dog and survived 89 seconds, then he decided to keep walking to a wall, I assume he had a vision of something even greater

The game remembered me a bit about The Sims. Great mechanic that the dog follows you with the ball!

This is a really fun game!! takes time to learn but once you get the hang of it it's enjoyable, maybe allow keyboard controls? I just found mouse controlling hard but right now it's great as it is!!!

Nice pathfinding! It's a small detail but I really did appreciate how your character automatically moved around corners. Cool game!

I love the little doggie, you should be able to name him/her when the game begins and then, when the dog dies, it says "<name> died"
