[edit]
i have uploaded the game in html so you should be able to play.. i hope .____.
Cons: The game seam a bit difficult for me and the jump is not really reactive.
Take a look at this GMTK video if you some snappy plateformer controls

Had a good time playing this! Well done! :)
Gameplay wise though it feels a bit simple. I love the concept, I just want more things to grapple to and maybe a bit of a slower speed so I can enjoy it more. but these might just be preference.
At the beginning I didn't even want to publish it and leave the jam. :sob:
I feel a lot of energy flowing inside me now like Goku. :fire: :fire: :fire:
Next add:
- speed of strokes that increases over time
- Indicator of how much you can hook with the grappling hook
- more content
I don't know if I will be able to add them by the end of the jam but maybe I will continue it post jam. :blue_heart:
The game was actually developed in 3d.
There is no pixel art. it's a shader. I have to decide whether to bring it in pixel art or to stay with this style in fact :confounded:
The game's idea seems pretty fun, running around and dodging the shots, but I think the movement needs some more work post-jam. It felt really floaty and just a bit sloppy overall. I think just stopping the characters horizontal momentum on the ground when the player isn't inputting anything would really help the responsiveness.
Also, it was never clear which point I'd be hooking on to, and the distance I had to be to hook to a new one. Just a little UI element to show that would be a huge help to the game!
I think with those tweaks, you could get something really fun here, it's definitely got character and potential!
The game was quite difficult to me and I did not see immediately the coins (I agree with @calcitherin on adding a sound when the coin appears). I also miss some more new scenes to play in. But anyway, it's a really nice entry!
