I really like the concept. The graphics look super cool too! I firstly struggled to see what I needed to do because the 'press right click to start' was off the bottom of my screen. I think I have a weird monitor resolution of 1366 x 768 and it meant I couldn't see the whole window. Finally, I couldn't see any other coins appear after the first one. Let me know if you fix anything because I think it looks great!

Fun to play and just challenging enough to make me want to keep trying when I die. I also agree that the art style looks really good

Interesting movement scheme, feeks like it could use a bit more work to be more predictable/fluid, but I like it. The art is also nice.

Very difficult - the small size made it difficult to see when you're within range of the hook points, and hooking too late didn't give you enough momentum to move to the higher ones. Definitely needs several runs to pick up the feel of the game.

Pro : Cool artstyle et musics :p
Cons: The game seam a bit difficult for me and the jump is not really reactive.

Take a look at this GMTK video if you some snappy plateformer controls

The game looks amazing and the grappling mechanic is great! The only problem is that before you learn how to play you are already dead, maybe slowly increase the rate of fire. Other than that great job!

Pretty cool I must say! I like the aged look of it, even if I think the player character isn't in tune with the rest of the art. The music was nice but maybe just a tad too distorted in my opinion. Either way, easy to learn and fun game play ^^ Also quite challenging because of the stupid lasers. I felt that it was sometimes hard to know exactly when the hook could reach, so an indicator for that might've been helpful.

Had a good time playing this! Well done! :)

Cool Game! I'm still don't really understand when you can hook a targeted cube. The music and the graphique works well. Good job !

I like the graphics style of the game, music is cool. But its hard i try to hock and canon shoot on me, the rate of fire is too hard at the beginning, adjust it whith the time or the score for example!

Love the aesthetics! It's a fun mix of tones that gives it a unique style.

Gameplay wise though it feels a bit simple. I love the concept, I just want more things to grapple to and maybe a bit of a slower speed so I can enjoy it more. but these might just be preference.

Unique art style, I liked it! Flinging the character around was quite fun, I can see how you could get skilled at perfectly maneuvering it. It did take me a bit to grasp the cube targeting, I was expecting the cube closest to my mouse to be targeted instead of the one closest to the character. Nice work overall.

Thanks for all the feedback.
At the beginning I didn't even want to publish it and leave the jam. :sob:

I feel a lot of energy flowing inside me now like Goku. :fire: :fire: :fire:

Next add:
- speed of strokes that increases over time
- Indicator of how much you can hook with the grappling hook
- more content

I don't know if I will be able to add them by the end of the jam but maybe I will continue it post jam. :blue_heart:

hi... lovely lil game. Art style sorta 1 pixel design is really nice. I would add a lil bit more animated sprites to make it more interesting ( since there is only one character). Also the control are a little difficult to get use to. I was not able to lift up the guy from one block. All in all good game.

@vivek-sharma20 HI and thanks for feedback.

The game was actually developed in 3d.
There is no pixel art. it's a shader. I have to decide whether to bring it in pixel art or to stay with this style in fact :confounded:

Cool game. Loved the graphics, pretty awesome style there. One tiny suggestion, you could maybe tint the coins with a slightly different color.

Ciao @carlofalltrades! Your game is quite difficult for me but fun to play. I was amazed when I realized that you could grapple! Cool visual and sound, good job![siamo italianissimi :D]

Great aesthetic, addictive and very challenging (I like challenging games). I had a small issue where sometimes I could not jump when I was touching the ground that led to a few frustrating deaths, but the easy repeatability made me skim over this issues.

The art style here is great, I love the blend between 3D meshes and bloom but with a pixelation filter to make it look 2D, it's a really nice style!

The game's idea seems pretty fun, running around and dodging the shots, but I think the movement needs some more work post-jam. It felt really floaty and just a bit sloppy overall. I think just stopping the characters horizontal momentum on the ground when the player isn't inputting anything would really help the responsiveness.

Also, it was never clear which point I'd be hooking on to, and the distance I had to be to hook to a new one. Just a little UI element to show that would be a huge help to the game!

I think with those tweaks, you could get something really fun here, it's definitely got character and potential!

This game have something that got me engaged for a long while, I think that the hook dodging concept is great. Maybe something like a room you try to climb as high as you can could be interesting.

nice one. Colors are too vivid though, there should be some more distinction between front objects and background

The controlls are awesome and I love seeing games where you can swing like smoothly like spiderman. The music was abit too loud but overall I liked the whole concept. You could definitely implement much more levels as this gets addicting over time haha!

I definitely love art & colors!!
The game was quite difficult to me and I did not see immediately the coins (I agree with @calcitherin on adding a sound when the coin appears). I also miss some more new scenes to play in. But anyway, it's a really nice entry!

Neat concept with the grappling hook mechanic and ability to swing around -- though I had a little trouble with the controls at first and died a few times from getting shot while trying to get the hang of it. The pixel art graphics feel nice and cohesive, and go together nicely with the audio I think. Overall it feels like a pretty polished if fairly simple game. Nicely done! :)

Really novel controls that felt really fun and arcade-y!
