Nice game, well done :)

I ended up playing the game a few times to try and get the different endings. The visuals were adorable and the sound effects were on point! Keeping our passion alive while juggling everything else in life is not easy and I felt your game managed to convey that message.

Although, I wish the impact of the choices we make or are going to made was clearer or heavier, cause I did not know who Alfred was or what he contributed. :") I actually played an entire route focusing on him, and it did not seem to make much of an impact?

Besides that, I enjoyed the game, great work!

The mood is spot on. The struggle is real :D characters remind me of "madness combat" and other old newgrounds games and animation

Pretty good game and I like the interpretation of the theme. Certainly unique! The footstep sound was quite cool and overall I enjoyed all the different options

The game did not recognize my keyboard input, could not really play it because of that :(
But apparently it is working for everyone else so I'm not really sure what could cause this.

I ended up getting really emotionnally invested in this! I had to do a few runs to be satisfied of the outcomes.

This is one of my fave's so far. Playing this story was a real meta play by your team given the context of this jam!

Very funny and smart game! The idea is fresh, and it reminds us how difficoult could be balance our dream job and personal life in the current system. It made me laugh and cry. Bravo!

This was awesome. Made me want to replay it over and over for different endings. Really captures the heart of pursuing one's dreams.

It does feel a bit like that when you're trying to do some gamedev. You start up at some point and you end up 10 years later feeling like you haven't accomplished anything...

Anyway, fun little game :) Graphics are cute, the audio as well. I am not sure I understood perfectly why everything happened the way it happened (I got laid off my job at one point but I never did anything about getting one... ?) but I like the multiple endings.

@linky439 Thanks for playing, and about getting laid this happens in later phases that'll eventually had to get any job to survive your life and not choosing the work option gets you fired.

Really good game! :D First thing I did was only choosing game dev ^^ Music and graphics are awesome, and how many endings are there? Played a few times, but only got 2.

It's a nice game and an ambitious project for the jam! Really well done! Graphics are pleasant and the music sets the tone nicely.

But something has happened to Alfred... no matter my choices, my character kept talking about seeing Alfred again. Yet I never found who Alfred is or how exactly to contact him.
Some choices felt like they had strange consequences, if you played several times and compared. For example, when I stared working with Maria early in game, we never got together. In another game, I ignored Maria completely for a time and only went to start group project with her once and later. And that resulted in us being together and even celebrating anniversaries.

@fabula-rasa It depends on the phase you are in, you're not gonna end up married in the college phase but in later phases even thinking about relationship is a bit more serious, and Alfred is his friend when you put time in building your friendship.

I loved the game, interesting story and fun art style. I enjoyed playing for a while and trying to get each ending.
I also followed the link in the credits to the podcast Riftwake, and I strongly recommend - it's a phenomenal listen!
