Changelog

Version 1.0.2

There are now two versions of the game that you can install. The first one is the game we uploaded at the end of the Jam. The 1.0.2 includes a bug fix in the tutorial. There was a point where if you fed the wrong slime (you are supposed to feed the little slime, some people were feeding the large slime) you would no longer be able to advance. We also added some tranceparency to the background for the tutorial text so that everything could be seen.

Well done! I liked the game idea and the cozy environment you created.

I think this game would benefit from a step by step tutorial instead of having the player read text.

I followed the tutorial (appreciated!) but I went into a bug that prevented me to play further: the first wild slime I captured was stuck behind the cages after I hit it with my staff, I could not pick it up of feed it. Too bad, the graphics are a strange mix but look cute overall

This is an insanely deep game for the amount of time to make the game. You did a great job!

Great Concept, With some polishments on the tutorial ( I got stuck sometimes if I do the wrong thing and have to restart ) and updates on map and all, it can be a great fun little game. Really sweet ^^

Maybe too complicated for a jam game. That said, it was a very unique and interesting concept. I like the whole idea of experimentation based on characteristics.

There's a lot of complexity in this game. Once I realised it was a puzzle to work out what food I could feed the slime, it was fun. Simplifying the puzzle could have been better, as the weights of each of the attributes was a little confusing. Really innovative though!

I agree with the other comments. Great game! It's amazing that you did that for a jam. The sounds were nice and matched the theme. A bit complicated to be honest.

@sylvainpv @radesign We have updated the tutorial a little, after some play testing with some friends, we realized that there was an issue where if you fed the big slime during the tutorial instead of the small slime, you would be stuck, so we fixed that bug in the 1.0.2 version of the game that can be downloaded.

Quite a complex game to understand, but the tutorial really helps :) I was starting to understand but I was stuck in the Notes screen, i think because i was playing on a very large ratio screen : Maybe The button to go back was outside the view ?

@infinite Glad you enjoyed the game! Unless there is some bug that hasn't been mentioned before, you should just have to hit 'e' again to close it

Very original idea! Unfortunately, I missed the main goal of the game from the lengthy tutorial. But when I saw the game over screen with the explanation it became very clear. So I would suggest putting something more similar to the game over screen to tutorial instead. It describes the goal very briefly and concretely.

Other than that, everything is great. I really liked the diversified gameplay, awesome art and fitting sound. All of that creates perfect mood. I really enjoyed playing it!

Interesting idea. I included it in my Ludum Dare 46 compilation video series, if you want to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/Kfcxq_4FEeU
