This was a ton of fun! Is the level with the eggs that home in on you and the penguins the last level? I was definitely survived until the bar reached the full amount but nothing happened.

The music and sound effects are fitting too and give a pretty good retro vibe.

Fun little dodging game! Felt a bit like an extended Bullet Hell attack sequence in Undertale. Controls were nice, levels were appropriately challenging. If you go on to make post-jam changes, it would be cool to have a level select.
Good work!

@herman-chau There's more level's after that, there's a glitch right now where the bar goes full and then you have one more penguin to get. Thank you!

@no-grapes-games I was actually thinking about Undertale while making it so you hit it on the nose there! And a level select is a great idea for Post-Jam! Thank you!

Very fun! There was an issue with the first time enemy penguins and eggs were spawned at the same time, where the progress bar got longer than its own box and the game didn't end. I'm sure this has something to do with the progress bar incrementing in chunks when the other penguins spawn - if another penguin spawns before I defeat the final one, it increments beyond what it's supposed to.

I really like this system for bullet hell. Getting hit by bullets is okay if you can recover quickly. The fact that eggs go away when they hit me meant I could even shield my fish from the eggs, which led to being able to make a lot of interesting decisions within this small field.

Haha, this was fun and challenging, I liked it a lot :) I think I found a bug or maybe the last level doesn't end..? But it was still great to play :)

Very nice level of polish there ! I thought it was pretty funny, the graphics are nice, the only thing I think could be improved would be a pause button though :)

This is really cool! There's a surprising amount of polish for a game jam game with the ice extending at the end of the level, the lines that telegraph the eggs, and the tutorial. Sound, music, art are solid all around. I was also impressed by the variety of patterns eggs would come at you in.

I only have a few minor nitpicks that don't really affect my score for this:
1. The penguin that eats your fish should be a different color, kinda like the enemy penguins. I was confused and thought I was eating the fish at first
2. The time between when you teach how to fight enemy penguins and when you next encounter them is pretty long. I can see people forgetting what key to press in that time.

Fun game! The graphics were good, and I appriciate the behind the scenes audio of the penguin walking sound  I feel like it could work with a random level generation system, although I obviously understand why you couldn't do that in 72 hours.

@flyingbear Thanks for the super in depth feedback! I want to make a post-jam version and I'll take that into consideration! :)

@joll05 I honestly forgot that was packaged in with the zip file. It wasn't supposed to be there, but I'm glad you enjoyed it hahaha

Great entry! The levels were very well done. The increase of difficulty was well paced and the change of music with the higher intensity was a nice enhancement! Great all around work!

@convg I'm speechless. I didn't even know anyone would be able to beat the end screen. I couldn't even beat it so I didn't bother adding anything afterwards. Good job! Haha
