Tickets, Please! by Tvorojok
Made in 72 hours for the Ludum Dare 47 Game Jam Theme: Stuck In A loop.
When I was young, I used to watch the stars all night long. Their beautiful light beckoned me every single night. My dreams have been connected with space since I remember.
Up to the old age, I haven't lost my hope to see other worlds inhabited by unique creatures. And one dark night in the sky I saw.. ..A train It stopped close to me.
I quickly entered the carriage through the opened doors and saw many different creatures! Since that, a lot of time has passed. I have visited lots of worlds. But only here, in train, I feel happy. I'm stuck in here like in a loop and I'm so glad.
This train is all my life!
20+ Characters, 9 Stations, 6 Different Backgrounds and 999999 possible outcomes of the ticket number :)

Had some trouble loading the html5 version for some reason so I downloaded the win file.
Very nice job on your entry !
The art looks great and the interactions with objects on click is very pleasant (the sound design for the clicks and other feedback sounds were well chosen).
As for the game mechanics, I did feel like I had to do some homework that I did not really want to do, I'm guessing especially the giving change back part, however it fits well with the "simulation" side that is very well defined from the start.
I will get back to it after I had more than 3 hours sleep (although it was worth it as I could finish my project too !), maybe then I'll be able to rack my brain and dust off the old arithmetic !
Cheers and enjoy some well deserved rest :)

The animations / layers management still a bit rough tough
I'm happy that the customers compliments me on my new glasses. But they should gove me others greetings too, i'm not defined only by my glasses :(
Great game overall
I experienced some glitches in the html5 version. At one point for example, the game just froze (the music still went on), and at another point when clicking a few heads to check whether I have to "remind" people to get off the train, I got stuck in the ticket menu and couldn't get back out.
Nonetheless, great fan of what you did! Thank you so much for delivering this gem! :)
Yes, after you counted the change, you should press 'Print ticket' button (step 8 in tutorial)
Thank you for giving it a try thou!
Only the Play button on the explanation screen is not very easily visible, with all that text on the screen, I almost closed the game cause I didn't know how to progress.
But overall, it's a really nice entry and I really appreciate the work put into it, keep doing cool stuff :)
They surely communicate that out-worldly feeling.. I felt I traveled with the train as well! Pretty solid work on the atmosphere!
Reaallyy polished game for sure!!!
Good job everyone!
P.S. That clicking sound is addictive
