House Plant Hero

It loaded in a really small window but I was able to spend some fun time on it. Sounds are good and music as well. I am really curious about this autotracker.py you have used to make music. Graphics is also quite good, love the pixel style.

This is a good game with nice sound effect. The pixel art also nicely show the status of the plant.

I like it! Simple concept but it fits the theme and it has a nice difficulty curve as you go. Well done!

A nice and simple game with good pixel art. I would have loved to see different kinds of plants though that require different amounts of water, I think that could have spiced up the gameplay.

Cool game, cool graphics, but there was no downside to just spamming spray. Also, there is no point of having a completely different button to start the game. Instead you could just use space to start the game.

Nice game! I liked the graphics - very clean, and the music and sound was good too! I think it would be nice to tighten up the controls a bit, sometimes it was a little frustrating trying to align yourself with the plants in order to make sure they actually get water. Congrats on your first ludum dare entry!

Kudos on the representation! Game is very fast paced so nice choice of music. Not sure if it's just me but I would've liked the option to expand the window and I'd recommend tightening up the controls because the collider for the water isn't big enough to water the plants precisely (especially with speed being such a large factor to excel in the game). Good overall though!

I have never seen plants that need so much water! This small game is challenging. At the end, a little boring, but this simple concept is well made, I had a bit fun, and the pixel art very minimalist is very interesting (Close to Atari 2600) with the 8bit music too. It is a cool simple little game.

Fun and simple, I enjoyed playing it! Definitely gets chaotic fast as more and more plants start spawning. The hitboxes for where to water the plants were a bit difficult to line up at times, I think extending the hitbox to include where the player is standing might make it a bit easier to line up, but maybe it was that way to make it a challenge!

Very dynamic game, you definetely need to have good reaction and quickly press buttons ;) But what is uncomfortable (as for me): I confuse the jump and squirt buttons, and you need to long hold on jump key to jump onto 2nd level. These together make me move anyhow, but just not as it should 😂
