To move use the left stick on a gamepad. Arrows and WASD also work on Keyboard.

I love the graphics and the theme. The controls could be better :smiley_cat:

There is an atmosphere to the game, but the gameplay need some work.

Tried the controller first, but it seems the left stick y-axis controls jumping which doesn't work for me, as I move left and right I am accidentally putting a little into the y-axis of the stick making the character float into the air. So I tried keyboard, this worked, but there was no feedback from the jump, a sound effect would add a lot to the jumping mechanics play feel. Also took me a bit to realize holding jump made you jump higher.

Adjustments to the camera would make a big difference, and there are a number of ways to go about adjusting it.
The issue I have with the camera is I cannot see the platforms to the left or right of me, and I cannot see the dangerous spikey rib cages below me until it is too late. There are a number of ways to adjust this but the easiest thing would be to zoom out a bit, and move the camera down a smidge.

I enjoyed the atmosphere, the cohesive art style, the lighting. I think I liked the happy little ghost the most.

Thanks for the feedback. I agree, I could have spent a good deal more on tuning in the floaty controls.

The game is really nice but I struggled a lot with the controls which is hard in a platformer game. I loved the mood the game creates. Good job!

Loooove the aesthetic! Sounds and graphics top notch. Actually laughed out loud at the "ow" sound. The lighting was a nice touch too. Controls a bit confusing.

I totally pwned this game. It has a beautiful art palette and art style generally speaking. I especially loved how the pumpkin spider worked well with the purples and grays. Good job!

I've thought about having a game where the faster you move the more shallow your jump is. It's pretty interesting to see someone actually have that same idea.

I won.

Hi, nice graphics and mood. However the controls were really floaty and not very responsive. I think if you improve on those the game will be so much better. Regards!

I loved artwork! The game told me I won, so I guess I won :)

Oh, and the sound effects you made were really funny.

I don't think I saw all of the level before finding the winning platform, so you might think about level design in the future so that the player has a reason to see all your beautiful artwork!

I finished it! The art and music are excellent, absolutely love it. The platforming is pretty rough, very floaty, lots of collision issues. But a really great entry considering time restrictions.

I like the character and the ghost. And the music+sound is giving a nice mood. But the control is awful. There's a lot of work to do on it. But it's a good base. With improvements on the movements it could be interesting.

I liked the graphics and sounds! The mood was great! I would move the camera a bit far away to see everything better and the player seems a bit too floaty
