Ok wow I love Chocolate. So cute! And I really like this game. I love how the music progresses as you get further into the game. And the music in general is really good, very moody. And the fact that there are milestones is great. Chocolate died in the caves and I thought I would have to go back to the beginning BUT we respawned in the caves! Thank you! Unfortunately Chocolate seems to get stuck a lot in the trees and stones. The graphics of the background and the world is simple, but overall the game is really cute.

Cute game! Keeping Chocolate alive was difficult at times but definitely a worthwhile investment, great expansive world & puzzles! It was frustrating to constantly clip on walls and have Chocolate get stuck, smoothing out wall sliding and pathing around obstacles would be a great improvement. The atmospheric music was really nice, good job!

The audio and art style are great and I liked finding hidden bones. The game suffers a bit from the pathfinding, enemies were ofter stuck in walls and even chocolate, which resulted in him taking a lot of damage.

Good job :)

Pretty interesting puzzle game. The part with the ice cream was random lol. I love the music which sets a calm atmosphere. I don't know if it was a coincidence or intended but I noticed that the music picks up when I entered the cave and I thought that was a nice touch.

Gameplay wise, the mechanic of having a delayed movement seems interesting, though it feels clunky at times and as others have said Chocolate gets stuck easily. I wonder if the part of being stuck could be an expanded mechanic. For example, throwing a treat to guide Chocolate out of obstacles! Also there is a little problem with one of the doors in the cave, where it goes in facing up but exits facing down which was weird and confusing. Other than that, very lovely entry. Well done!

Nice game. I only found the song a bit sad for the theme, but the game is fun. I like the art at the end. Me and Chocolate-san made it through. XD

Interesting idea, but the gameplay needs more elements. Maybe attacking, letting the dog wait somewhere so enemies follow the player etc. Also, I discovered at the beginning I could use shift to run and didn't stop using it until the end of the game.

When Chocolate was dying, I was able to "cheat", as the bone respawned each time I left the cave, I thought I would have to go after the ones I didn't get before.

On the other hand, it's interesting to have the dog take objects and be the target of enemies.

I liked the character sprites and the general feel of a "walk your doggo to reach a nice place" game. Nice idea.

Main issue for me was the dog getting stuck on trees or rocks - I don't think it necessarily needs pathfinding, but if the dog would slide against collisions instead of coming to a full stop I think that would already cover many cases.

This was really cute! I lost a lot, but the checkpoints were much appreciated. Nice work!

Is there a way to get chocolate through the swarm things without getting hurt? :open_mouth:

I got stuck in the house with the axe - the ice cream cones(?) pushed Chocolate into the hall, but I was in the room. I couldn't move the cones out of the way, Chocolate wouldn't move, and the cones couldn't touch Chocolate to get the game over screen.
