Ninja Rabbit 2020 by fatalcaca
Stealth roguelike game kinda ! The goal is to reach a golden carrot while avoiding wolves. The game allows you to do this in a sneaky way, playing with the wolves pathes and field of view.

Known ~~bugs~~ hidden features : - sometimes the wolves go through obstacles - the boulders are somewhat sticky, hadn’t much time to fix the collisions

yeah it was a bug :-|
should be fixed now
thanks for your feedback btw
The idea is quite interesting. Kind of like a rogue/stealth game, but also running away from enemies or pretending to be dead. I like how the wolfs realize there's a rabbit and start chasing it. Plus for humor.
I wouldn't mind a faster pace though - more acceleration and probably smaller levels.
I think I would also prefer the movement to take place on a grid. What I mean by that is tapping an arrow key once would be enough to move the rabbit to the next cell.
this has so much potential. the game has good vibes, and i love that you made an ability system. but the controls! it felt like the rabbit was walking on ice and grease and i don't even know what else.
your idea was very interesting and i'd totally play the game with some less wacky controls
The upgrades are a good thought though I think they cost a little too much and the last one doesn't seem to do anything when you buy it ;) A suggestion to expand things a little might be to make them repeatable purchases, allowing you to play dead or sprint multiple times per run - perhaps they could cost a little more each time.
(Also an amusing point, it was surprisingly effective to sprint full steam towards the carrot and death-slide through all the wolves that tried to pounce on me).
