Your houseplant Jerry has had babies and they are running rampage around your house! Take care of the plantlings so they can grow their leaves and be planted in their plant pot homes!

Plantlings was made by Ryan; a software engineer with a couple of solo Ludum Dares under his belt, and Lucy; a chemist with no previous experience making games! We hope you enjoy what we've created!

Use WASD or arrow keys to move S to descend stairs W or space to jump E to throw

Known issues: - Sometimes the plantlings like to float off into the sky, if this happens try your best to get them down i guess lol

I love the colorful world! The aesthetic is very happy.

The game physics are a little bit wonky. I wish I had a little bit more precise control over my character.

The in-game signs were very helpful for making it clear how to play and how to progress.

Thanks for the feedback @silas-reinagel ! Glad you found the signs helpful! What did you find was wonky about the player movement? Was it the movement speed, or the jumping?

Cool game idea that covers the brief pretty well! The colours are really nice but some of the game is a little glitchy, there isn't great control over the character and I got stuck on the stairs a few times lol!

I cant play this i'm sorry it's too hard to understand what to do. However, I enjoyed the art style and concept.

@ryanman56 The movement speed was a little bit sluggish. The animations made me feel like I should be able to move faster. Also, I had some very serious challenges trying to go up and downstairs. I think those were my two biggest issues.

Interesting game. There was a glitch or 2 where my character disappeared. I like the style of the game and concept of taking care of rambunctious plant children. Nice work
