My game for my first jam.

Please read instructions on how to play because I'm not good at modelling so maybe you won't recognize some meanings.

Story: You are an AI, which is invented not long ago. You job is to handle the hospital's traumatology, which consists of sending the injured people to the right department so they will be alive.

There are 5 wound types, which belongs to 5 departments shown on boards at the front of the elevators:

  • Broke something (Broken bone board)
  • Burnt something (Fire on board)
  • Some toxic happened (Glass filled with green liquid)
  • Something got in one of the holes on the person for example: ear, mouth (X-ray logo on board)
  • Something caused the person to bleed (Scalpel like thing on board)

CONTROL:

Left click on patients to select them. If patient selected, then click on the board of any elevator to send them to that department.

Right click

Causes of injury are randomly generated, so there can be some funny cases too. :)

If 3 patient dies then the game is over.

Only the main menu title font is not mine, Owner can be found here
P.S.:The game is probably not tweaked to be the most enjoyable.

I really like the Graphics and the notion of being an AI. Maybe I just didn´t get it, but I couldn´t see the different woundtypes on the patients..

It wasn't immediately clear what I was supposed to do just booting up the game. But I like the concept. I can see this being developed further to include some complications to the time management aspect. Different road blocks or even multiple-issue patients that come back out and need additional treatment. This was topical without being offensive, so nicely done!

Nice idea. Could really be something with some more depth.
As mentioned by others, I couldn't really spot any indication of where the patients should go, so I just winged it. 6/3 and over.
Well done for first jam tho, and nice work on the sound.

At first it was hard for me to understand where each patient was taking, but after reading well I understood.

Good game

nice idea, i think it's not playable because it's too random but it's pretty good for a compo

hmmmm I don't quite understand how I am supposed to know what injury each patient has...

Really interesting and cool concept, but I think the execution wasn't quite there. It was a bit clunky to find out the patients' symptoms and deliver them. If I were to improve it, I would make the injury indications cleaner.

The graphics were really good, I thought the hospital interior and main menu were well designed. Good job!

It took me 3 runs to understand the controls.
_Right click_ the patient to see what their injury is.
_Left click_ the elevator that you want to send them to.
Once I understood that, I was able to start saving some people. Definitely feels unpolished, but it was pretty fun once I understood the controls. Good effort for a compo!
