In this fast paced burger cooking game you must make hamburgers for the big scary monster before it's too late! Even while under attack by his minions.
THERE'S A TUTORIAL IN THE GAME (NOT THE BEST) BUT HERE'S AN EXTRA INCASE YOU'RE TOO LAZY OR ITS TOO DIFFICULT TO READ:
Head over to the stove (Labeled in the tutorial)
Press Z and play the minigame (Press the keys that show up)
Once you see a flying burger, head over to the plate table (Labeled in the tutorial)
Press Z on the plate table and head over to the burger and press Z
Once both the burger and plate is on top of u, get close to the monster and press [ARROW UP].
DON'T LET THE BAR ABOVE HIM DROP DOWN (trust me)
CONTROLS:
[Z] - Interact
[X] - Shoot
[UP ARROW] - Feed
[LEFT RIGHT ARROW KEY] - Move

Haha thanks! @n-o-games
Overall, I had a good time playing your game and all the little details made it feels very polished !
**Thins I like**
- good game play, interesting mechanics, professional look
- fantastic art style
- nice sound effects and background loop music
**Things that could be improved**
- slow down the spawning of enemies, especially at start before player gets the hang of it
- cut tutorial text to smaller pieces and pause gameplay so it is not explained all at once but while you are interacting with different mechanics
Very nick work in such short time
I love the idea and graphics, but I think the enemies could be a liitle bit less harmful
Aesthetics are great. You could do use those assets in the future perhaphs.
Cheers!
I had a bit of a hard time getting used to the controls, and often mixed up the action and shoot buttons. My general philosophy (when applicable) is to try and keep similar actions bound to controls that are accessible by the same hand. In this case, I would bind moving and interacting to one hand as 'environmental' controls, and then have shooting bound to the opposite hand. For example, maybe moving is left and right arrow keys, and interacting is up arrow so the right hand handles all environmental stuff. Then keep X as the shoot button and the left hand can handle combat. Another possible combination is A and D to move with E to interact. You could then do left and right arrow keys to shoot and give the player control over which direction they shoot in, or do any comfortable/sensible key on the right side of the keyboard.
I've found that grouping controls by the player's hands helps players break down the control scheme in their mind, and let's them learn and master the controls a bit more smoothly.
With that being said, please don't take that big long paragraph as a sign that I didn't like the game; I loved it. I especially liked the arrow keys minigame that forces to you split your attention for a few seconds. This is a very well designed and well made game!
@john-snyder Thanks for playing and for leaving some feedback!
@sarok Yeah I wanted to add a web build but I've had some bad experiences with Godot and building to web. But I'll experiment and make sure I get it right for next time! Thanks for playing
Over all the idea is pretty fun even if I suck at the game haha. I had fun making burgers and feeding the blob. It looked really cute
