Definitely not something I would've thought of, the mood and audio were good, graphics were simplistic but served there purpose. I'd call this one a success!
It is a very nice entry. Even with simple game mechanics, it is nice wandering around just to appreciate the pen-drawn-like models and the music. It just missed a few more sound effects and the audio would be perfect.
It's difficult in 48h to actually create a good mood, but you sir achieved it.
Nice entry !
@rolly Thank you! :)
I felt the time limit is very narrow. As if the only way to win is by speedrunning it.
The automatic panning of camera gave me headache, moving where I didn't want it to on its own.
Also, teaching your people where the brake is could save here i think.
@lexyvil @danial-jumagaliyev @vollfeiw Thank you :)
I think the first thing I want to mention is the color, the mostly black and white palette really helped accentuate the important things with color (especially the red objects). I also really liked the scratchy (sorry if that's the wrong word) texture of the geometry in the town, that gave it a very picturebook-esque feeling. Finally, what really rounded up the atmosphere was the music piece, which added a very somber mood to it all. I think the ending worked well with the overall message, I think if you had shoehorned in a happy ending it may have undermined the overall message, so I think the ending you put in was a good call. All in all, great job, very well-done take on the theme!
@bobparis75 Thank you.
Characters have a simple design but very cute !
There is some glitch on houses 3d models. The player seems too slow to me.
I enjoyed play it.
After several tries I managed to save her! Maybe next time reduce the light intensity.
I won't how many times I got hit by a car. Let's say nobody saved me :D
I tried quite a few times before I gave up, but maybe I'm just bad a this.
Other than that, it's a short, sweet game that gets its point across and doesn't try to be anything else but that. I like it :)
I really like the feel of the game and the time you sharing an experience with us in this medium. Very touching. Even though using primatives objects, you were able to bring them to life, give them life. Well done! Thank you. Does this experience reflect something you are going through may I ask?
