Really well done! Its relatively polished outside of not having many sfx (either that or they are really quite and I turned the sound down too low :p). Only issues I had were balance related and QOL related.
* would be nice if, when a night wave was completed, the speed up function would automatically turn back to x1 speed
* would be nice if there was some way to tell what kinds of enemies were going to spawn before a round begins

Fantastic job on this jam entry. I think the work put in really shows through in the game!

Edit: I am dumb, bullet point #2 is null and void

@seth-tal
Thanks for the detailed comment with improvement ideas.

To your second bullet point:

A preview for the incoming wave is shown in the top right corner during the build phase. That was supposed to have the desired effect described in your second bullet point.

Maybe the names of the enemies weren`t to clear.

Very nice tower defense game! Only thing I would love to see is which enemies are going to be in that wave.

@Floscha62 My apologies, didn't notice that my first time through. I will edit my comment to reflect that. Thank You

The game all around is well though, being able to skip the long build time and fast foward early waves was a big help. not being able to build during wave was a bit frustrating, I like being able to ajust where I build stuff and I got caught be a wave of flying ennemies I couldn't anything about and just had to surrender. The part shown during waves was a bit small and the turrets could kill the ennemies before I even see them. Understanding the mechanics was really easy and userfriendly.

Nice tower defense. The UI is really easy to understand, I like it. The day-night cycle is neat but I think the towers should be as bright as the main base. The map design basically makes you build outward in all directions equally, so that could be made more interesting. The music is really good but is too peaceful for the night battles. Overall it's a very well-made game, congrats!

Nice solid tower defense game. I like the day/night cycle.
Way too slow on anything other than the highest speed, and because of that and the darkness I can't really see the enemies. Also the interface kept flickering which was quite irritating.
It would have been nice to see the wave number on the interface somewhere.

Cool to see a tower defense game! I enjoyed the pixel work and the UI lays everything out nicely. The day/night cycle looks good as well. I think it would be nice if there was additional illumination on the map, either the turrets or enemies, just so you could see what's happening a bit better. Also the money seemed a bit tight. Nice job on this I enjoyed it!

Nice game, A bit on the easy side, and the game breaks down if you play it for long enouh(get like 200-300+ turrets) Otherwise good game!

Amazing game. Work more on this, release it on steam, and I will buy it. Am 100% keeping this on my computor.

Impressive to make a tower defense game in just 3 days!

Well-done! I did find a bug where if you speed up the game the turrets don't aim as well. Otherwise, it's a solid entry. I would have liked some sfx and I'm not sure the music really fit a war game. I wish I was as good at it as Snowdrama; I always ran out of money and died. I made it to 11 rounds and only barely. Overall, good job!

It's a nice and functional tower defense, and considering how I bailed on my own tower defense idea, I respect the work it took to not only get everything functioning but creating a good and well-balanced game flow. I appreciate the pressure between trying to support long-term income upgrades and affording new turrets.

If I had one major complaint, it's the fact that airborne enemies can be an instant failstate if you have not deployed an anti-air turret. This feels like an oversight, as a single drone enemy can carry more weight than an entire army as opposed to being a nuisance you weren't prepared for.

I also would recommend adding a night-time music track, as the peaceful ambience works great for building but is rather out of place when the lights go out.

The fact that you even included QoL features is awesome! I greatly appreciated being able to increase the simulation speed during combat, though I wish this automatically reset back to speed 1 during the building phase.

I'd love to see where this project goes beyond LD!
