The light of the fire is the only thing that's keeping the wolves away. Find trees, chop 'em down, and bring the wood to the fire. As long as you keep it alive, it'll return the favor.

Missing some fine tuning, especially with the light itself, and I didn't test enough to get a sense for difficulty, but (hopefully) the idea still comes across...more or less.

Great theme interpretation on this tiny game !
Controls are a bit clunky, but overall the rules are pretty intuitive.
The text introduction is nice.
On my first playthrough, I died a second after spawning, and when restarting I understood that wolves often spawn scarily close to you and inside the fire zone.

Pretty nice game! I almost reached maximum deforestation :P

I wish the wolves were a bit more aggressive at the beginning, but overall the idea gets through. Well done!

Cool idea. I reckon some visual feedback on when you throw wood into the fire and how much you are carrying would be helpful. Wolves seemed to just walk past me for quite some time and also they didn't seem to be repelled by the fire since they walked right through it.

I like the straitforwardness of the goal here, I wish it more challenging as well as having a timer so I can see how well I did. Also the game could use more feedback when I throw wood in the fire because I can't tell that I'm throwing it, I just assume it happened when I pressed space. Also, the fire animation and particles look great!

It's a fun, straightforward game. I would really prefer if we could see the process or use an action to put in the wood into the fire because I wasn't sure if I deposited the would or not. Simple controls that make it easy. This was fun!

Nice idea, but the game needs a bit more polishing

I like the concept, and the game is nice and simple. I think the wolves could use a little work, though. They sometimes spawn in the fire zone and kill you when starting, and they are very easy to avoid out in the woods.

Cool tiny concept. I agree with the other comments (more feedback, more agressivity of the wolves)

A good starter for a little game which could be more polished. However, what you did in les than 3 days is amazing. Controls are a little too weird for me. Fire animation is great. You have here a good potential. You have to work on this project so as to create something relevant. Well done ++

Nice game with creepy mood :)
I've got a wolf stuck in the tree so this one was not dangerous![Capture.PNG](///raw/6e5/d2/z/33a7e.png)

I liked the idea of the game. It would be great, if there would be some endgoal (like survive until the night ends) and wolves could also be more aggresive.

Good start. I included it in my Ludum Dare 46 compilation video series, if you want to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/W3MIuB5jBTw
