This is a fun interesting take of the theme. The art is quite nice though i feel like maybe some animations for the player could add quite a lot. I also think that maybe some more characters to give to Cthulhu would be nice, though i understand that time was limited. Overall a really good entry to the jam, i enjoyed it a lot.

I love the concept so much, but I couldn't really try it out, as ctulhu energy runs out too fast - you don't have enough time to bring him even a single human :(
Restart menu doesn't seem to work as well :(
Still - concept & art are great! I really hope to see a bugfix to try this game out ;)

Feels like there's much more potential but it's a fun little game even if it's unfinished. I'm happy someone chose cthulhu as their theme, good job!

Hah, nicely done. I don't know if this was just my imagination, but were the men slower?

I was INCHES away from delivering the last stupid human to our great lord Cthulu, but the great lord grew impatient and game-ended me.

I like your art design, and the game mechanic is nice and simple. It would have been nice to hear the stupid people scream, but I understand voice acting is not many people's forte or priority because of the short timeline. Well done!

Also, I noticed those shaders. :smirk: Beautiful.

i love the concept, and cthulhu looks super cute in this game <3 sadly, no more stupid humans spawn in level 2 and seems not possible to progress further? still had fun!

Really cool idea, think there is a lot of scope for it.
I liked the shaders used on Cthulu really made him seem over wordly.

I like the instruction, very simple and concise.

Well done on the first game you've made in 5 years :D

I hope you got some sleep and that you can fix the restarting bug (I get stuck in that game over state).

The pick up -> dropping people off feels fun and I think it would be even more fun if I could play longer 🙏

Always love a nice human sacrifice. The game suffers a bit for being too repetitive and slow-ish but quite cool anyway especially since you've been away from gamedev for a a long time, good work!

I respect Cthulhu cultism. This game is great. However, I could no go forward after sacrificing everyone at level 2. What font did you use for the white text? It's beautiful.

The idea is fun and the art is cool, well done! However some music would be nice and maybe make the movements a bit faster, going so slowly towards the humans is a bit frustrating.

I liked the idea behind the game, it was pretty creative. The speed was at some times frustrating but that might have been the idea for it. I also liked the art style chosen.

@xdsilentstorm i originally planned also: THE FAT BOY, THE DETECTIVE (you can see in the menu screen), the ENEMY CULTISTS and other stuff... maybe in the expanded edition!

Nice pixel art! I would liked to see different possiblities to sacrifice humans. But great job! Is there an end? I stucked after the second "level".

The "stupid humans" at the beggining made me smile :3

The art is nice, very retro-looking and I like it! Though, some more animations to the player could have been nice


The gameplay is simple and makes for good fun, though I feel like I'd like the player to move faster, but I don't know uwu


Some more sound effects and music could be a welcomed addition!

Anyhow, this still is a nice little entry, well done!

The pixel art was really nice, I also like the screen effect (Is it called raster?). Nice take on the theme, I am a big fan of Lovecraft. I unfortunately did not manage to keep Chtulu alive for very long after the first level (I think my best was 4 or 5 human sacrifices there), I guess it takes a cultist for the job :smile:

Excellent take on the theme, loved the gameplay. Great graphics. There is a bug where pressing "Z" to restart is a loop back to the Game Over screen.

Nice pixel art. It was amusing seeing humans run away from my character only to be carried to Cthulhu :D
