Note: Pay attention that once you look behind cars wont hit you for a few seconds, but if a red flag appears on screen it means that cars in front of your are going to hit you even when you are not looking

It's a little on the too difficult side, you don't have time enough to see the cars coming and dodge.
Maybe if there was a ramp in difficulty (slower cars first and more visual identification to dodge) that would improve the difficulty.

It's really hard to tell when a car is coming because of all the different lights on the road. This makes it a guessing game for which way to steer. It also makes me really reluctant to change to shooting mode since I don't know when I should be expecting a car to spawn in front of me.
Also, the description said I'll get to "blow the cops" chasing after me, but I was never offered that option
Feels nice. Was thinking it was just a driving game and dodging cars until I read the controls. Then realized there's more to do.
Looking back and blowing up cop cars makes it a lot more fun. Great game. I do wish the indication in the corner was a bit more obvious.
I like that the limited resource is your attention, but the balance seems off. Maybe more time between seeing a car and hitting it? Maybe an indicator when you're close to something in front or behind?
i found the car hard to control, and the vision distance a bit low, but with those tweaks, i think it could be great!

Graphically the presentation was top notch; was expecting just an asset flip of SUPERHOT with driving, but was proven wrong. The rain effects looked amazing, the presentation was clean and it ran well even in the browser on my ultrabook. Soundscape was also spot on. The one thing I'd criticise tho would be the driving, it felt too challenging for me, but then again, could be just me being n00b.
You guys should maybe expand on this idea; I feel like you are onto something. Very nicely done!

However, the guy which developed this project, did everything the most dumb and naive way, so, the water drops started draining almost 600 batches from CPU and then, we just left this idea, we would not achieve a whole refactor within the jam's time frame!
dumb & naive = no pooling + secondary camera instead of writing the water drops world positions straight to the texture and then input into the shader
Seems like with a little more time you could've turned this into a full action game. Shooting the cars was fun, but it didn't seem like there was any real reason to do it. I thought there would be police cars chasing me and I'd have to shoot them down. Also, it seems like a major design challenge to figure out a good way to let the player shoot out the back without crashing the car. Maybe a mirror somewhere? Like a reflection off the swinging car doors? Idk.
Overall, awesome job here. I hope you keep working on this because it's pretty great.
If you carry on developing after the compo, it'd be cool to see more colour and/or some UI for the gun/aiming , and maybe a way of seeing more of the road ahead.
Something that could be fun is aiming ( in reverse ) in rear-view while in driving mode, or alternatively, some method of seeing the road while shooting backwards( a reflection in some medical device / boxes etc) .
