Cool entry, only problem was UI, you can tweak canvas settings, so UI will scale with screen size

Fun little game, quite innovative. Taking the theme quite literally.
A shame the UI got borked, would've loved to see what the name of each menu item was. Quite easy to guess that the top was the one to start the game though.

Very unique game mechanic with the balloon movement trying to not get popped! I dig it! Your interface doesn't seem to scale correctly thought. Also I would recommend making the player automatically restart rather than go back to the menu. When it restarts, they are likely to keep trying over and over, but every time you show them the menu, you are inviting them to quit. Just a tip. ;)

Works well in fullscreen mode. Very creepy vibe, with both the art and the music, well done!

What a spooky mood and amazing music! The game mechanic is also quite innovative.

The game is very atmospheric, and trying to keep the balloon alive is a lot of fun! Good job! I love the music.
Nice touch using the sunlight to highlight the hazards

I liked the idea to play with the balloon physics **and** with the player physics together^^
The UI is not well scaled indeed, but at least it worked for me in fullscreen.

Positive point for the music too :)

Anyway, congratulations for this first participation :)

Thank you all for the feedback! @blackopsben I have uploaded a new version with fixed scaling and on death it now reloads the scene, instead of loading the main menu.

Cool! I like the environmental storytelling of those popped balloons on the thorns :) The balloon physics work really well

The balloon physic is really cool and the music gives me shivers. But what are all the graphics about? What is the story behind this?

@klaus-peter Glad you liked it :) I’m not certain if this it what you mean, but for me the story is about a boy in a nightmarish/dreamish area walking around and exploring. The characters are just random things that came to mind. I’m going to try to make dialogue possible and some enemies and a boss, I also want to make a weapon system.

Pretty neat idea, it took a few tries to get the hang of the physics but it was super fun!

Wow, the man in the background with the bulging pants creeped me out LUL. It was extremely hard to get past some of the areas, I really wish there was a checkpoint mechanism because after a while I just didn't want to start all the way from the beginning.

It's really hard to get the balloon through some of the obstacles, but the physics of the balloon was handled really well and felt good. The audio gave it a very eerie atmosphere to go along with the dark woods. The highlighting of obstacles using the light was very in-keeping with the aesthetic of the game and a good visual indicator for the player to help focus their attention on what needs to happen.

Really clever idea - fun trying to play with the physics to move the balloon although I could quite master it. Liked the little touches of using a popped balloon on the upper obstacles to show the consequences! Extra spoopy.
