Version log
1.01 - Added easy mode, a very small mode that changes very little in the game and took me 15 minutes to make. Due to me watching streamers and realising no one made pass level 3, I made this so more people could see all the love I putted into this game.
1.02 - Added a speedrun timer. Since we were having so much fun with this game on stream and with the community, we added a speedrun timer so we could have a bit more fun racing each other!

The mechanics were absolutely boring and the voice acting was terrible.
It was not at all funny. Overall just a bad game.
Only thing positive was the red lasers. They were super easy to make out and the hitboxes were very clear!
p.S.
the opposite of everything i just said
Yay! I won! I gave you maximum points because that was a fun game. Pretty challenging and you put a lot of effort into it. The ending was smart.
This would be nice for speed runs.
I didn't find any bugs. Controls felt pretty good once I got the hang of them.
@ausstein GOOD FUCKING LUCK

This is a good game. The best part was the swinging part. It's difficult, but every time you fail you can understand the mechanics better. I would love to see the robot as a plush toy.
After finishing the game the first time (don't show the time cause it's quite ridiculous)...

I tried the speed runner mode and I don't know how, but when I reached the third room it was completely empty and even though the text said I had my arms unlocked I actually couldn't use them and reach the exit. After restarting the game it worked

But was fun. Felt sometimes like a wierd roudn spiderman in hellish loop.
Gj!
Fun game :D
But I guess on my case it was a bit harder, because my GPU is very weak and the game lagged a bunch. The resolution was very weird too, I couldn't see the whole subtitles neither the main menu options, look:

(My resolution is 1366x768 btw).
But from what I saw on the streams, you implemented many cool levels and mechanics! And very funny dialogs too haha, it reminded me a lot of Portal.
Nice entry!
Cheers!
Finally finished your game - and wow it was hard! (I don't think the time on the screenshot is accurate, though - I had left the game open for a while to do some stuff)
My SO saw me when I was stuck at the part where I got the arms, they asked "what is this, 'Spider-man from Hell'?"
The dialogs were really funny. It seems that while in Portal the cake was a lie, here the [REDACTED] was true

😳 This game man.

Great entry, I had a lot of fun playing it. Frustrating, but that way be design, and makes the win that much more satisfying. I like the open-ended solutions also, there are a few ways to tackle some rooms.
Unfortunately I'll have to rate 1/5 in all categories because Pomo The Dog is nowhere to be seen in the game. Better luck next time!

It might be an unpopular opinion, but I think the "easy mode" is too easy. That is, for me there is just enough of a difficulty spike for it to feel frustrating and not feel challenging. If I had to point my finger specifically, it was the rotating lasers that have different speeds between the modes.
Overall, it's a fun platformer with great mechanics, and I'm really sad that now I feel unmotivated to finish normal mode.
I think I've sunk about five hours into it. I'm posting a screenshot from my first completion and my most recent one, I don't think I'll be beating that time.

Overall it's a really nice game. Very complete with good graphics, audio, humor, and mood. Awesome job!
I made a [video of this speedrun you can see here](https://myldgames.s3.amazonaws.com/ld47/Loopism_Speedrun.mp4).
I do have one more piece of feedback. I have the most difficulty with the controls on the legless level, and I think I figured out why. I'm guessing you're using the default input settings with Unity? It feels like I'm adding acceleration to a rigidbody based on my input, but Unity's default settings also apply an "acceleration" curve to the horizontal and vertical axies, and I end up feeling like I'm fighting the input and it's not intuitive, because there's two separate acceleration curves happening on top of each other. So if I'm right, and you happen to want the player to have more control, you would give "gravity" and "sensitivity" very high values in the input settings. I think you could change this by script just for that level.
Well, that's my feedback for why I THINK it's difficult to control that level, and what you might try if you WANTED the player to have an easier time. If I'm wrong or if it was your intention to make the controls hard then never mind.
I know I've already given you feedback but this is my favorite game of the jam so far. Hope you win.
I really liked the fact that when you start everything over it loops seemslessly because that's basically the shape of the level, but now you have new powers so you can find an exit!
The control ideas are great, I loved the grappling arms, and the looks pretty good, with good humor and audio, you can be proud! One of the best games I've played so far ^^
But the physics, it's SO weird, like what is this gravity ? It's super strange and not natural, also the hitboxes of the obstacles are not very clear, which is frustrating too.
Special mention to the voice acting it was super fun !
But overall I really liked it ^^ I managed to finish normal mode with this score !
