Your name is PIERRE THE GNOME. It just so happens that today, 4/20 (nice) is the day of your launch! You've been recruited to cultivate and guard a garden of ROBUROSES. Do you have what it takes to defend your roses from the DARK GNOMES? Let's find out!

This is the first game jam I've ever participated in, as well as the first game I've ever published. I can't promise this is going to be good, but it's progress and I'm proud to have come this far from nothing in less than 72 hours. I'm proud of myself, as all other participants should be! I, Griffin Kieu, made the game and all artwork, the music is by Mal Kieu my partner, and the font is by jeti on dafont.

Cool, congrats on your first game jam!
It would be helpful to display the instructions either on the web page or in a pause menu, since it's difficult to remember them in one go. Loved the music and the funny little Gnome!

Graphics pretty cute. Music was nice, got stuck a bunch.. unstuck feature was nice but accidentally hit it when trying to water/fertilize.

Graphics are nice and idea is nice, but this is difficult to play, because moving and object positions are weird. The game guide ("controls") makes sense and show up how to do different actions and tell the items function, which in this game is very important to understand (imo) the game at all. While there is not much objects in this gameworld and the gameplay has slow-speed action, the game idea is still good

I like the concept and think this game as a potential. But I ran into the moving and collision troubles described in the previous comments. Audio feedbacks and, more visual feedbacks, could help read the game flow. The music is nice and change according to situation. There is a root to grow a nice and pretty game here:rose:

A really nice first jam entry! Like everyone else, the collision seems a little off, but I didn't have much of a problem with that. On the other hand, I was a bit confused with the combat at first, but I eventually figured it out. Regarding the combat, I found it really easy to just spam the attack button since the enemies all gathered at the same flower. I also found the days to take somewhat of a long time to progress. On another note, I found the music and sprites very charming. The theme of the game also fits very well. Overall, this is a really nice first jam entry, and I hope to see more from this developer.
