The game freezes sometimes. But I love the style. Reminds me of old point and click adventures. :)

Quite fun, I like how it got harder over time. Nice graphics. Wasn't sure if you were actually meant to go for that 3000 coin purchase so I left it after the last animal.

Rather a bad-tempered customer than a dead animal! I love those pixel! But seriously - 7 to 8 dogs in a cage? No wonder it stinks :D It took me about a half an hour to realize that I will never get that employee. Thank you very much for you entry it was fun to play!

The game was quite glitchy on Firefox. I couldn't close the store, and the buttons for the store menu went off the screen. I also was able to telepathically feed the animals by clicking on them through the store pane. Not rating for now, but I might come back if stuff gets fixed. The art looks really nice though

The graphics are great! I love how the animals move around in their containers, and how the win condition is hiring an employee haha

This looks to me like a very ambitious game to be done in 48 hours! You've done a lot in that amount of time. I really like the look of the drawings. Maybe it would be helpful to differentiate the salesclerk from the patrons. I liked the idea that the difficulty in the game is induced by the progression and the buying of more animals. Sometimes I had to stay in front of the cage for fulfilling a task and sometimes not. Not sure if it's a but or not - but I didn't see how I could make it part of my strategy to win.

Great job on the graphics. The perspective conveys a lot of depth. The buy animals menu got stuck for me when I tried to buy a spider and a rat.

- Great concept. I like builder/simulator/tycoon kind of games
- Pixel Art is very good.
- UI could use a bit more improvement. Since you are building with Phaser, it would be easy to add some custom CSS styles to make UI looks nicer.

Overall I like the game. I think with a bit more development, you can turn it into a nice mobile casual title.

It's simple gameplay-wise but it feels really good to play, and I had to get the different animals to see what they looked like in the store. Solid entry, nice job !

Great game! Loved the art and style! The 3000 coins did seem a bit high to go to though, I stopped after getting about 150 coins after the last animal. It was fun to play, great job!

This is the game I've played the longest out of all of them that I've played! It was balanced really well and did a good job of keeping me playing. I didn't get an employee unfortunately but I didn't have an unhappy customer until day 40 and no animals were harmed, I promise. Art style is cool. Couple of bugs I noticed: Shadow sometimes appears/stays at the entrance and sometimes the slider for a task starts when you start walking towards the task rather than when you get to it. I didn't mind either the second one though as I helped me get out of a few bad situations. Great work!!

I like the style, sadly i found myself letting all the animals die so the customers would only buy the most expensive one

Interesting concept, really good idea of approaching the theme.
Things I noticed:
-When I first started it I was unable to move and had to reload.
-The fonts when hovering over animals/costumers are very anti-alias-y while the fonts in the shop are super-crisp and kinda break with the general art style of the game.
-The background of the animal shop for me only covers the upper half of what i think was the intended area, so the lower buttons just float over the scene while the upper ones are in front of a background.

Of the games I've rated so far, this defo held me for the longest. (Tho I'm a sucker for eco sims & time mgmt)
Got all animals, but you'll never keep me until 3k coins. My first fish already died. 😭
Very well done for the compo! H5!
