Nice idea but it is too difficult without walkthrough

Great idea and gameplay! The first level was too dificult, but the second level was cool. The art is simple but realy good.

This is really clever! A walkthrough isn't necessary, you just need to explore the different options a little. If you wanted to make it a bit more user friendly, maybe add a highlight or glow to the bits that are interactable. I wish there were more levels (but I appreciate the limited time of course!). It would be great if the graphics were fleshed out and maybe some sound effects. I really like the music, it adds to the game feel. Well done, pretty original :)

Solid little puzzle game! Felt a little too prone to trial and error (I had to use the walkthrough for the first level, and then by sheer dumb luck won the second), and definitely benefits from the readily-available walkthrough, but definitely shows potential. Music was decent, graphics were passably retro, and the humour seems pretty on-par for the theme (though some of this may simply be I am biased in favour of anything using the term "hooligan" because it's *hilarious*) - my only complaint with it is that it's not entirely clear what's interactable at first & you have to hover over it to find out. A minor highlight or perhaps an increase in saturation compared to the greyscale two-tone world outside would probably do the trick, and help players get straight to the puzzle-solving.

Good work overall!

Super interesting concept!

I unfortunately also didn't get in the first level that I can interact with other things than just the suicididal hooligan and the reset device. I think with a very obvious first level you could get eased into the game if you plan on working on this after the jam.

I also really liked the art style, especially the rotating cylinder looked and felt great! Also that you could spin people to death :D

Great job! I had fun :)

Really neat and original concept! The graphics are cute, i like the music and the point-and-click mechanics. The puzzles are shorts but still fun to solve and beat it.

Thanks for the comments, all! Here are a few of my thoughts on my game:

-Yeah, the first level is too hard. I wish I'd made the timing more forgiving. Balance is always so hard for me in 48 hours!

-The second level is too easy, and unclear - I wish I'd had time to make the "reset" machine be separate from the hooligan, and made it so the icicle had to hit the reset machine instead of the hooligan, to knock it away. And if the icicle hits the hooligan or the girl, the level would be over.

-This was my attempt to make a point and click adventure game with a time-travel story, AND a time-travel mechanic, but the combination of those two ended up making this a very ambitious endeavor. I spent so long trying to get the time scaling mechanic to work, that I ended up not having enough time to tell the STORIES of the levels. (For instance, in the first level, the hooligan accidentally fell off a roof. He can use his time machine to repeatedly rewind time by a second, but he can't get himself out of the predicament completely - that's where you come in.)

-I find it funny that people seem to like the music; I made it in a whirl in the last ten minutes of the jam, haha. I almost cut it from the game at the last second, but I guess I'm glad I included it.

Anyway, here are a few things you may have missed:

-In the first level, there are quite a few things you can speed up and slow down! They include the falling hooligan, the time machine, the tree, the laundry, and the walking guy.

-In the second level, the hooligan is repeatedly resetting time so he can try to get a better outcome for his date - and every time he resets the date, he says slightly different things, all in an attempt to figure out how to win the affections of the girl.

Very unique game. It was short but still quite hard to figure out what you were supposed to do. The music was also fitting and made the game more enjoyable.

Great concept, I wish there were more levels or more stuff to play with in each. Honestly a really fresh idea. Watching the two people fly of the rotating restaurant was super funny, I had to do it a couple of times. I didn't find it difficult or confusing as some people have said once I had grasped the concept. Took maybe 5 minutes to get to the end.

Cool concept speeding things up and down. I really wasn't sure what I was supposed to be doing, but I was able to slow down the falling guy's inevitable death.

Good game. The idea is nice but it is hard to know what you have to do in the levels.

Nice concept! It's just a bit hard to know what to do in the levels
