Bermuda Triangle by Humpert764

Welcome to drain 6b in the bermuda triangle. This is your first day as the new manager and our expectations are high.
To ensure a stable supply of cooling water to the reactor core inside the hollow Earth, the location of the drain must be kept secret and this is why we built a base that gets rid of passing ships before they can leak any information about the drain.
This is done by pulling them into the surrounding vortex, which will do the rest. The ships come in waves. If you manage to take care of five waves and nobody escapes, we will consider you worthy for this position and you'll get the rank of Lizard General. If you fail, we'll have to get rid of you.
It is of uttermost importance to jam all signals of passing ships, so you will have to build a Jammer. This should be your first action. Keep it up to date, or you will fail! Then build defenses to pull the ships into the vortex.
We're counting on you.
Longe live the Order! Donald Dumb
EDIT: The Jammer must be upgraded before every new wave (Jammer lvl 2 for wave 2 and so on), make sure to do that, otherwise you will lose. (Didn't seem to be clear from the tutorial)

A few more descriptions would be nice - it required me two restarts to figure out, that magnet do not acrually crush ship, but keeps them in range
Jammer was not easy to understand too, why should it be upgraded even if no ships escaped?
Sometimes upgrade button do not works, if there was not enough money, when the upgrade window was opened
Anyway, consept is great and I liked the game =)
Thank you!
I love the tower defense formula. I don't know if you guys made the music, but I think it wasn't the most pleasant, so I'm glad there was a button to turn it off. The sound effects were downright terrifying, but quite fun! At first I was overwhelmed because I couldn't read the buildings descriptions and game instructions while the waves came, but I found out you can pause with space bar later.
I had quite some good fun on the first wave! I seemed all powerfull with my destruction sea station, but after the first wave I just lost, and I still don't understand why :(
It was overall fun to play, and I think it can become a really cool game given the needed polish. Well done!
But the overall idea and the graphics are nice.
Well done
However, I have an issue, I can't start the second wave, indeed, as soon as it starts, I got a game over screen, do you know what the issue is?
But the difference of difficulty between wave 1 and 2 is just huge (I have do 10 trys and no success :/ )
Some sort of marker for ships that are on the way out would help. I understand that it's fairly obvious if you know to watch for it, but it feels anticlimactic/weird to lose to a boat leaving the corner of the screen.

...isn't it Donald?
I have to admit that i'd never figured out to upgrade the jammer if I haven't see it in the comments. Too bad you can't restart at the wave you failed because I failed at wave 5 and I was like "nope, i'm not going that again" lol.
@harksa That's a great idea! We might implement that if we get back to working on the game (right now Uni has started so this might take some time). We'll probably also add a reminder to upgrade the transmitter before each wave starts.
Thx for playing and the good feedback!

Shame because the game looks cool and would really like to play it!
I think the UI could be improved a bit, scrolling through the building parts was a bit tedious.
Apart from that, I enjoyed it though. Fun little distraction, perfect for a jam.
Idea was funny and pretty original and fit theme perfectly. Graphics were good, sounds were ok. Sea sound was nice, the screams were good to a point, but the music I turned off pretty shortly.
One of the best and complete entries I've played.
I got up to wave 3, I enjoyed it. I think the UI needed a bit more love, presentation of the build list could have been better.
