What is this game?

Rhythm-based shamanic battle ritual where you "dance" a series of steps looped forever. Try to pacify as many spirits as you can, but remember, the spirits also have their own "dance" loops so the key to victory is to learn, match and adapt!

How to play

Hold arrows keys or WASD to direct the battle dance actions (move and attack).

I really like the idea of the game. Gameplay mechanic is interesting and also hard! Graphics are also very nice. Good job!

Love my rythm games! Feels a bit like necrodancer, but with more indirect control of what actions you can take, but fits well with the theme of looping your actions. Had the feeling the trigger after completing a level or death doesnt always trigger, forcing me to reload the page often (atleast the web version)

Nice concept, very challenging! I got stuck on level 1, I don't know if it was a bug or I didn't understand how to progress. Still, I like the mechanics a lot and general aesthetics are dope.

I find it impossible to attack without taking damage which makes the game unbeatable. I'm not really sure what is the tactic to use. Idea is good but there is little intuition with the game.

Maybe a tutorial or a level 00 to get a grasp of the mechanics would help.

I caught a bug. The game didn't restart on death and didn't progress on defeating all enemies. The idea is cool, however in my opinion holding the direction to move doesn't jive well with rhythm game component, it would feel more rewarding to tap the direction in sync with the beat. The graphics are neat, the music is groovy!

Nice music and art but i dont get how its exactly working...some kind of indicator that you did something right or some kind of tutorial would have really helped...nevertheless looks very promising and unique!

Really interesting concept! I enjoyed the pixel-art and simple yet effective (looping?) theme - these complemented the mechanics well. Like others I found the game to be difficult; perhaps more UI or distinct graphics/audio for the different operations would make it a bit more intuitive. Also I sometimes ran into the issue where the game would not restart upon death. Overall I would say a very solid foundation for a fun game jam game. Great job!

The concept is strong and I like the innovative take on the theme. It was hard to get the hang of how to play the game (include a tutorial next time) and I don’t think I moved everytime I tried to move with the arrow keys while the move action was available. Also, you should make there be a restart button so I don’t have to reload the page everytime. Nice job!
