Nice game! The graphics are really beautiful and it plays very fluently.

Interesting graphics, gameplay feels a bit clunky, maybe because of jump height, distance or something. But I know platformers are just really hard to fine tune so well done!

Hey! Love the game! Nice mechanic with healing.
A bit weird that you have sounds only on left side

Great take on the theme! The UI, graphics, sound, and game play all work really well together to create a great atmosphere for the game!

Lovely concept with the regenerating its power when next to a torch! Really loved the idea!

The music and art are amazing! Other than a few hiccups with collision, real great!

I unfortunately couldn't get very far but I am sure that just needs a little tuning that there isn't really time for in an event like this.

I enjoyed the minimal UI, I feel you did a good job of showing us what was happening on screen despite the lack of a traditional healthbar etc.

My biggest complaint was I couldn't figure out how to restart the game after I died. I restarted the browser in order to reload which meant I also had to watch the cutscene again, it would have been really nice to start again at the beginning of the level if I wanted.

Thank you for your submission and I hope you check out the game I made with my best friend!

Nice graphics and sounds.Jumps are a bit weird I would say also the borders of platforms are bigger than they seem. And last thing maybe a restart button would be good since I have to reload the page everytime I die :)

It's a fun little game, I enjoyed my time with it. Although I sometimes found myself hitting invisible walls in between two platforms, other than that, great game and keep up the good work.

The sound effects and music matched really well with the game. Liked the concept of feeding the fire. The jump bothered me a little but other than that, I liked it

Fun game, call me a noob because i was stuck on level one for 10 minutes,
I just couldn't get the jump off of the moving platform.

But I enjoyed the music and the art was nice.
I would add an easyer restart if i were you.

Nice game, but but not well playable cause its more like prototype, not a full game. Fire looks nice :)

I appreciate the use of dithering in the artstyle, the controls feel very crisp. The level design is alright as well, with nice use of the water. The tiles are a bit generic, but for a 3 day Jam this is sweet

Nice idea for a little plattformer. I had some problems realy jumping precisely, buit I guess thats just the difficulty of the game (which is not something bad^^).

Whats great about the game is the music. The atmosphere of the theme realy fits the visuals.

I really like the idea and implementation of the theme. It has all the pieces for a very fun game, it just needed a bit more tuning and polish of all the pieces. The fire animations were my favorite part.

Very good little game! The water/fire mechanic fits the theme perfectly. The graphics and sounds are giving it a nice atmosphere too. Good job!

Very nice atmosphere in this game, and nice sound effects and especially background music too! I agree that the controls could use a little polishing (I kept accidentally jumping immediately when I landed because I kept jump pressed too long), and overall I think the water was a bit too forgiving (I could swim around for a while before having to jump out, and then a single torch would completely refill me). Definitely worth playing though, so well done!

The art is good, the platforming gameplay could feel a little clumsy, but not a big deal. Good levels too.

Hello, cool platformer game! Here are my thoughts and the few problems I encountered:

- The player hitbox seems off, you should really reduce it!
![fire_hitbox.png](///raw/aba/9/z/330e6.png)
In the above screenshot I couldn't jump between platforms, although I was small enough. I managed to continue and finish the game by jumping from the right platform, but I would definitely think I can go on the left.
- I fell into the pool and came out alive on the exit. Maybe I should have died? I feel like it wasn't punishing enough (but I didn't hit water droplets).
- On the vertical map, it was a bit annoying to get on top. Apart from the hitbox issue, maybe it would have been nice to have a "coyote time" (being able to jump when you're not on the platform anymore).
- I don't really know the use of the fire. From the texts I suppose it heals me? I thought it was going to make me bigger or something like that. I would have liked to have something unique about it that defines the game: right now I could replace the water with lava and fire, and the braziers with healing items. I know I wouldn't buy a platformer game if it does not have something unique (be it cool graphics, original gameplay features, intriguing story or something else)

That was a bit exhaustive, but I think the game is fun, good job

I think with some tweaks to the character movement and camera would allow you to get away with an insta kill in the water pools. Have you seen this game? https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/46/the-seeker I love how much care you put into the story, sound, and graphics. The subtle high rez smoke/fog in the foreground is so cool! Also, love the "voice" of your character- it is easy to fall for Ignis Morty. All-in-all, great job and good luck! Thanks for the game!
