Keep Her Light by arche-san

Olivia, why can't you see me ?

Why can't you hear me ?

I won't give up, I have to find a way to contact her.

Maybe I should move some objects to get her attention?

Nice game! Progression in story and the way that you appropriate the theme are interesting! More visual and sounds feedback would be great to see what happen sometimes but it's enough to play the game and understand story
Also music are great and fit with different moods, great job :)

I'm truly impressed, the story telling is great, the art is a masterpiece along with the music, I didn't expect to see such a depressing entry but it was a really nice take on the theme! Definitly my favorite work so far

The artstyle and audio really benefit the "mood" of the game. Very beautiful and somber. The text from clicking objects would sometimes lag or bug out, but other than that, a great experience!

Graphics and mood was well set. Interesting take on the theme although I did find my self brute forcing solutions to the game. Colour schemes are also very effective at setting the mood.

WOW ! Feeling bad in the beginning. But the way we are trying to take care of her is satisfying.

Amazing art style, heart wrenching story, and really good incorporation of theme.

There is a tiny bug with the message you get when you click on the door before the ending day.

Also, for some reason programming is written in French in the credits, I'm not sure that's intentional.

Amazing game, only some tiny, insignificant, and easy to fix problems, I definitely hope you will rank high!

The story telling on this told through both the art and music was very compelling. It really gave a sense of sadness and longing that is very rarely seen i games. Thanks really enjoyed it.

Very nice game but I did not really get into the gameplay.
The graphics are impressive and the music really sets the atmosphere.

The graphics suit really well to the story telling genre and the music is so lovely ! It's very ambitious from you to have chosen a narrative game for a jam, but god you did it really well !

Great job !!

A bit sad, but beautiful game! Amazing what you can do in such a short amount of time. I did not find how to reach the end but still enjoyed the game <3

This is art. It looks amazing, you can feel emotions playing it.

Gameplay-wise I wasn't sure what I'm supposed to do. For 5 days I was clicking on pictures as it was what ghost was telling me to do. Maybe it's because I lost some text while clicking around, but I got lost.

Great story, perhaps worth polishing and publishing as a regular game.

Thanks!

Amazing game, mood, music, graphics everything is here. The only issue for me is that I was clicking everywhere during the first part of the game, without understanding what to do. Anyway the mood was here, great work !

A beautiful game and a nice appropriation of the theme. the adaptive music enhances immersion and the artwork is great.

i think more sound feedback for interractions will be welcome and its a little hard to know what we have to do.
Overall it's a great job. Welldone ;)

Wow, great way to talk about grief. With more feedback and some clues to find what to do this game will be a real gem.

A little difficult to grasp what to do next, multiple correct answer would be nice. Really like the art style and animation.

Great concept and truly lovely art! I happened to notice how the ghost ducks under the doorway when entering the bedroom - very nice! I enjoyed clicking around to see the ghost's memories of objects, but that overlapped awkwardly with trying to progress the game. If the idea of what to do next was a bit clearer, I think this would be even better.

I couldn't get the web build to load in chrome (Windows 10), so I played the post jam version. Perhaps you could add some patchnotes, to let us know what has been improved. The art, music and mood are great, but there isn't enough player feedback for my liking. I clicked on everything in the apartment, but could get the story to progress much. I got her off the couch and in front of the cupboard to the right. Clicking all the items did reveal what happened. Is that the end or is there some kind of resolution?

Hello Mika, thanks for your comment. What day is it, please ? Hovewer, is not the end of the game. A little tip for you : it's possible to click many times on the same object ;) and read carefully the ghost's words. I hope can it help !

Wonderful job!

The visual and audio art are really good.
The writing is great too and makes you go through different emotions.
The gameplay is simple and the rules become clear fast.

I like the explanations given when you do nothing, but I personally would have needed clearer ones, I am not very good at this and I often had to click everywhere to get the next bit of story!

Thanks a lot for the game!
