About

Year is 2060. An experiment that aimed to increase insect pollination abilities has gone wrong. The earth is now completely void of any plant life. You are one of the droids sent by humans to revert this extinction level ordeal.

Developer notes

My fourth submission for the Ludum Dare game jam. Although it could definitely use some more balancing, I'm pretty happy with the results.

Really nice game, it's really juicy and the game calibration is pretty nice, also the concept is quite efficient so the gameplay is good right at the beginning of the game, I just think that the difficulty is rising a little bit to much fast !

The tension of the laser build-up before a burst is fantastic, and plays well into the contrast of "gardening game" with "post-apocalyptic blaster". Interesting game, thanks!

Great piece. I loved the shooting effects and smooth controls. It required a bit of mastering to keep more than 5 flowers, so difficulty might be a little bit hard, but squishing stacks of insects towards the end of game was really satisfying.

Great game with a well-executed concept. UI and character animation was great, laser felt satisfying to fire. I did feel like the difficulty was a little high, as everything quickly became too much to manage and flowers wilted a bit too fast when plagued by bugs.

Really fun game here. I really like the art direction and the animations of the arms. The only regret I have is that the map feels empty. The multi-kill text is a great idea and pushes me to try making combos. The game feels juicy. Great job guys :)

Great set, mood and gameplay. Maybe I would have liked a rotating system for tools using Q/E or the mouse wheel, a bit uncomfortable for me using the 1-4 keys, but it's okay. I didn't really understood what the 4th tool is used for. The difficult increase quickly, but i liked it. Great game, you can be proud of it!

Hi @delunado, thanks for the feedback! The funny thing is Q/E rotation thing is already is place, but I though adding it to the tutorial would be too much text:D. Also the 4th tool was supposed to be a flamethrower, but there wasn't enough time to implement it.

Good Job 👍 Hard game with a great concept. The gameplay is very intuitive once the tutorial done. The shoot system is very cool (triple kills!!!). The map is a bit empty but you have done a big work on the robot that give us a good feedback on which tool we are currently using.

Good game! You created a very nice mood with the ambient music, the art, and the opening sequence. The tutorial was very nicely implemented: informative and unobtrusive, I love it! Plants were a bit too fragile for the seeds they give, and it was hard to get rid of pests with the charging lasers. Overall, a very good entry, with balance issues that are normal in a game jam like this.

Very nice game, I loved the Shoot sound effect! Pretty hard after 4 plants, but it has a solid gameplay, very fun to play.

Great game. Instead of a swam type of attack you should make a wave system. good game overall

I saw this game the other day on a Twitch stream. The first two times I played it, I lost pretty fast, not knowing what to do. After that, my third attempt was pretty good, I got a score of 12.
Does the 4th tool do something? The tutorial didn't say anything about it.

Wow, 12 is impressive! The 4th tool was supposed to be a flamethrower, but it got cut due to time constraints. Thanks for playing!
