Sound effects were very discret but that's why it's pleasant because you pay attention to your surroundings.\nThe aesthetics is quite nice in this game it was pleasant :)\n\nto give you feedback i would say that once I understood how the mechanic worked, i didn't feel any threatened anymore by your cute dark creatures. I got hit at the first try but then chopping wood and keeping the fire alive was not much of a challenge, it was pretty easy to actually do the game.\nI didn't understand if you could chop wood that fell down because the animation of chopping was still on. It's nice to actually see that woods stays on the ground :)\nThe fire effect was pretty :)\nAnd it would have been pleasant to hear a nice little ambiance music too :)\n\nAlso the only moment I was scared was the end screen! :D why put so much scary sounds on the ending I succeded? it scared the freak out of me! :D ahah\n\nlittle things I found:\n\nIf you go straight in the woods you can actually fall from the map, just so you know!:smile: \n\noverall it's 4.5\/5 game for me, pretty good ! :)\n![6.png](\/\/\/raw\/f42\/21\/z\/318c8.png)","likes":3,"format":"md"},{"author_name":"MateusBoga","author_uid":"1059026","time":"2020-04-21T14:02:37Z","epoch":1587477757,"modified":1587477845,"text":"Really well achieved game! I missed the challenge a little bit. I axed down 6 trees or so and just hoarded the wood.\nThen retreated to the campfire for the rest of the night, keeping it going.\n\nOther than it being a bit too easy, this is a very ncie game. I beat it first try, but got properly caught off-guard by red eyes appearing in the darkness. I had slight issues with getting caught up in clutter (like a small rock on the floor) I couldn't see very well, but it might have to do with room I was playing in being a bit bright. I didn't regret spending those 10-ish minutes to keep my fire alive. Overall, a really polished game and I think it stands in every regard. I wish you could chop on those demons too, but it doesn't really matter :D One thing I wish was changed, is that you barely can see the fallen pickable tree trunks. Maybe a faint glow around them would be nice, because, being chased by the cute little demons, I missed probably half of them.
