Sometimes controls seem broken.. Need to shake the elements a little bit for them to work again

@snufkinshat I believe that's a LD issue. It loads if you click the YouTube button on the bottom right of the embedded window.

I really love the clever and unusual gameplay loop, and I really appreciate a full playthrough video for those of us who can't download and play Windows games.

The idea is innovative and solid, and I would really like to see it presented in a way that's more satisfying than filling out 0's and 1's... Perhaps themed in a robot or computer or something?

@Super_Raiyan Thanks for the feedback! The themeing could use a little work but the idea is that you're building your own system from the ground up. Maybe I'll expand on this in the future but, with that in mind, being inside an existing system wouldn't fit. It could have been designed to look and feel more like a breadboard maybe though.

As a logic teacher, I love any kind of logic game. Though most people here probably have a basic grasp of logic, you should add tips along the way to teach the player the meaning of the different logic gates.

On another note, the controls seem a little shaky and it is sometime unclear what I'm supposed to be doing. For example, one level has a gate that says "OR," but it only had one input and no outputs.

controls broke for me too, also it eventually crashed :/ would have love to see where you took it.

I couldn't figure out where the output went on the second level... I've got an input, and a not gate, seems easy to invert the output, but didn't do anything. Eventually realized the "not" is actually the output now. Was pretty confused and thought it was a bug. You might want to add to your description that the node on the right side, regardless of label, is the output!

And then I'm confused as to why I'm unlocking gates when I already have a NAND... I'll just keep solving everything with NANDs... This is how you're supposed to build a Full-Adder, right? =)


Edit: I count 22 NANDs in your Full-Adder solution and 15 in mine (plus one that I didn't need and couldn't delete...). That was fun!

Edit the second: The internet claims the optimal solution is just 9 NAND gates, I admit defeat.

Wow, this is an amazing game, it's well designed, thought out and executed, I could play this for hours and it generally is just amazing, keep up the amazing work =)

I love logic gates so ofcourse I love this game, good job, great puzzler!

Nice little logic solver/puzzle, but I could see it would be hard for someone not knowing the gates to get through the game. A little description of the gates after they were unlocked would help a lot.

Other than that it's a great idea that fits the theme in a unique way.

I love puzzle game and I love binary logic :p So everything I like is in that ! good game. (I only solved the 3-4 first level but already hooked)

Those are some... uh, _minimal_ graphics lol (I kid). Of course, you don't play this kinda game for the graphics, you play it for the puzzle and it's definitely got that. It's ultra basic and gets by with few moving parts, but gets complicated fast. Definitely makes you think. It's also great how you start with literally no options and then work your way towards the next piece which you then unlock after solving the puzzle with the options you have. Sound works, but a bit of background music wouldn't hurt. :stuck_out_tongue:

Puzzles were enjoyable, it brought back memories of doing such things with redstone in Minecraft. There are, as people have mentioned, a bit of jank with the controls. Sometimes things don't want to connect unless you life the gate and place it back down for example. There are occasional bugs with the display on the output too as I mentioned this to you personally, which caused some strife in me trying to figure out gates. Could use some background music.

Otherwise a good logic puzzle game where you have to take a seat and do your best to solve it.

This is a fun way to learn logical operators, and a fun and unique type of puzzle game. My only complaint is that the UI elements sometimes required "shaking" so that new connections could be made. Otherwise, great! Nice job!
