I love the graphics and the audio. I didn't find any problem in the gameplay.
+Gameplay is Simple but fun.
+The graphics look really good.
+the sounds and musik fits.
-The character slides of edges which is really weird at times.
-This game could really benefit from some Coyote time
here is an example. :D

All in All I had fun, well done ^^
I really liked the idea of looping the same level without resetting the hit points, this made every hit count.
The interface might need a little rework. I was confused about reloading and when I could or couldn't shoot.
The gameplay itself felt nice. Splattering pesky enemies with the shotgun was great :D
Small things to improve:
- gun sprites should rotate about their back. An easy hack is to make the sprite be bigger and filled with transparency if you don't want to do the rotating math.
- if you use W for jumping, you can use space for reload (as it's a common action)
- feedback on hit would make things feel a lot impactful. even just a brief tinting of the sprite. I didn't realize the boxes were interactible until 10 minutes of gameplay as they didn't react to me inial shot.
Overall I quite enjoyed my time with this game
