Beautiful graphics and nice ambient sounds. This would make a fantastic mobile game and I just love the style and the vibe of everything! Not sure if it was an issue or just be being bad at the game but it kept dying on level 5 when the meter wasn't very farleft or right... If you did decide to carry on developing it, maybe adding a few different types of plants for some variation would be cool! Awesome job overall and well done!

I also kept dying on round 5 and am not sure why, but that aside, I love the simpleness of the mechanic, the audio contributes to the relaxing feel and all the volumes are balanced super well, the art looks amazing--great job! Would love to see this get expanded on someday :)

Loved it, a fun game and a cute idea. The only thing I would change would be to make the character faster. Really enjoyed playing it though. :smile_cat:

It would be nice to have some indication of how it is being scored during play. Was not sure at first if the goal was just to keep the meter even.

This has to be the most polished game I have seen this jam. Everything was really nice, and I really enjoyed growing my plant! Might be one of my top games this jam.

This is pretty cute! The art and sound design seems to work pretty well for what you were going for. I think the game could use a bit of rebalancing though, in the literal sense- the balancing part of the gameplay feels a bit too strict without all the upgrades, and seems to go against the ability to upgrade your run speed. It also might be good to add some more variation in the gameplay as well, like adding objects over time that you don't want to collect at all.

Also worth noting the behavior of the red restart button caught me off guard; I thought it was a "retry level" button, not a "restart game" button, hah. Be careful about laying out your UI that way!

Lovely art, lovely sound. I can see this making a good mobile game. I wish there was a way to speed the character up - as some items fell so far to the edge of the screen they were impossible to catch.

Really nice polish with the UI, sounds, etc. Getting to level 6 with my plant starting to fall over was a bit jarring because it felt like I had to re-learn the game, but I like the concept.

The art and atmosphere are great! Gameplay was simple and clever. Balancing the bigger plant added a cool sense of progression. I think you could make the Daylight scene a little brighter. Other than that amazing entry in my opinion, good work!

Cool game, very "mobile"-y feel. One thing though - the sun sound effect is EXACTLY identical to the level up sound of a game called Counterhero, by Qrostar. Maybe it's just a coincidence, but if you used a sound asset or something you've not created yourself, as I understand it you should point that out somewhere. No big deal of course, overall good job!

@Brachistosauro You are right! some are assets that I own and/or are free to use assets. I created some of the art work but not all, so I have opted out of those categories. Thank you!

Really liked the idea. Very polished. I feel that the reset button should reset the level not the game.
