Epoch by WhoIsMawal
In this game you will steer the progress into new ages through combining items. Starting with only a stick and a stone, you will be able to harvest crops, breed animals and finally build houses. As of today, we only covered the stone age. Let us know what you think about our game and if we should keep adding more epochs.
Enjoy the play.

You have a nice idea here, I enjoyed experimenting with different combinations to discover new ones! Got stuck at 17/30 after getting the golden circular thing and the black goo thing. I wish the items were labeled, and that there was a way to clean up the work area once it got too messy. The animated portion above the work area is a nice touch, but for a while I thought I had to drag some items onto the caveman or the boar. Overall great idea, would be cool to see other epochs
After a while, could be because I have a heavy drain on the browser and comp overall, but it really slowed down.
But I hope this gets it out of Danger Zone!

- "Area Messy" - you can drag items back and forth and they vanish, so you can prune it up.
- Yeah, labels would be nice. This is a game that definitely needs some note taking, to find the efficient combos that do stuff.
- It's fairly generous with not resisting placements, and I got my 25 bit just throwing stuff into a heap. Also, because of that generous placement, it rewards "making shops" - you can line up a whole row of stuff and then just drill out combos until something triggers.
- I posted this on DonationCoder here: At least a few eyeballs!

Also I'm pretty sure there are 3 part and more combos. I'm stuck at 25 again when my machine bogged down.
Easter Egg!
I'm not crazy! The guy starts out with a boring walk. At some point he goes Michael J Moonwalk! :)
Update: Got it!
I worked out the complete pattern. So, pleasant little game! And there's interesting player hints if you go a couple directions in a certain order. Really, a fair amount of work went into it, because according to the grid I made, they had to code all those error checks not to be false positives!
I'm a little rusty on Ludum Dare culture - is anyone interested in a walk-through?
Although we originally planned to integrate more epochs, a dynamic story based on your progress, and well, labels, we are genuinely happy with what we come up. So, even if this game won’t get out of the danger zone, our next game will. Because everyone knows: All good things come by threes :)
