Sleepwalker by Sheinxy
As the godly figure that you, the player, are, you will need to help a poor sleepwalking catto who fell into a cave to make sure they stay alive!
However, things are not going to be that easy, as you have little control over the poor catto, despite being a god. All you can do is make them jump or stop D:<
Be it! Help this poor catto find their way back home, and this in spite of the terrible dangers, and keep them alive (without them even noticing, they're sleeping! :3)
Controls:
- Left click on character: Jump (There’s a double jump)
- Right click on character: Move/Stop
- F: Switch camera mode
- E: Re-center camera (in free camera mode)
- WASD/ZQSD/Up Left Down Right: Move camera (in free camera mode)
- Left click on moving platform: Move to next position
- Right click on moving platform: Move to previous position
- Left click on button to press it
This game was made for the Ludum Dare 46: Keep it Alive, in about 2 days

Great work!!
But it was quite hard to click on moving character to stop him)
@patrickjr @agegorin Sorry if you find the game too hard uwu', the reason it conctrols by clicking is simply because my inspiration for the game was the Mario VS Donkey Kong game on the nintendo DS, in which you control the Mini Marios by touching them with the stylus, maybe this wasn't the greatest of ideas, but I though that using the mouse to control the character would be a fun and unique idea!
@odeyalko yeah, I know it's hard, I wanted it to be somewhat hard :3c. Although, I maybe should have toned down the difficulty just at least a tad little bit! Still glad you like it though!
@edartz thank u uwu
Thank you all for your feedback!
Love!

Thanks for making this!
@artylo @standly007 Noted, if I make a post-jam version I will tweak the character's speed and the gravity!
@ohmyguigui thank you!
@simonbeats I'm glad it reminds you of a nintendo game, some nintendo games were inspiration in the making of this!
@mantaraytv-games thank you so muchh ahhhh
I liked the challenge.
The click detection around the character needs to be a bit wider I think.
I think the some puzzles I managed to survive, were interesting. It took me a while to figure out having to use the free camera to use off-screen button.
The art is simple and clean (as they says), very efficient. That count for the sound and the pixel art.
Biggest issue here is the difficulty. Maybe you should have explain some "tips n tricks" when you had to jump in a platforme, switch color, double jump, run and stop in one take. Really, it's a minor issue. That's the example of game that I really like in Ludum Dare. Nice job mate :3c
Great job I enjoyed it!
@joonamo I'm actually glad it took you some time to figure out that you had to use the free-camera! The idea behind this obstacle was to leave the player in a state where they wouldn't be able to continue until they figure out by themselves that they could do this!
@schwarcraft @joonamo it seems that the speed is a recuring complaint, I will take note of it!
@maqo12 @blackgoku36 @baptiste-guerin @maximbegunov @hugandhug thank you!
Very pleasant to play :thumbsup:
It looks like you really challenged yourself doing the level design with the mechanics you implemented and u did a really great job. Congratz on your game!

Pixel art graphics very nice.
Truly enjoyed it!
I think the menu explaining the controls was a bit too dark and I had a little trouble identifying some of them, but it may be just me. The audio could be improved as well, but the results are really impressive for the time inverted!
Here is a full playthrough for those of you who might want to see the full game!

I think this could be be a very good and much longer game all in.
Nice graphics and sound too. Very solid entry - well done.
Graphics are very nice, audio too and I find th gameplay pretty original, great work!
Overall I really enjoyed the game and it was really fun! Great work!
Beyond that, the free camera was a really good idea and very welcomed to be implemented and it was a pretty decent game overall.
In some moments it can be really tough to precisely climb onto a short platform before your guy crashes run into the wall to turn around and fall again.
With some control polishing it can be interesting. Keep it up!
tips. Need more instruction in begin of game =D
But after a few seconds you understand that this is not usual plantformer, and you start to fighting vs controlls)
It may scare away smbd, but to me is actually like a challenge) Good graphics, clever level design, and cool mechanics. Well done!
Interesting concept for mechanics and really nice realization! It's easy to see you were really having a blast with the level design :D
On the same note: Thank you so much for your playthrough video! I tried, I really did, but I couldn't make it even halfway it seems.
Really love the art too, it's just a shame the cave is a cave and thus dark, making the protagonist almost disappear in the shadows. But I feel it was a deliberate decision, maybe to add a bit to the difficulty?
Either way, I had a great time with it! Thank you for letting me play your game!
The art and the music clashed, in my opinion. The art is simple, dark and moody. And the music is very energized and chipper. I would change to music. Maybe to something more sleep-walking ;).
(p.s. Love your little pixel art charactor I saw it in another post and I was compelled to check out your game)
Edit: fixed some mistakes
