Fixed a bug where sometimes items wouldn't merge even if they were compatible. This was done by rewriting the drop detection code to use Physics2D.OverlapCircleAll instead of the old OnTriggerEnter2D method, which was not as reliable.
although i found a bug that makes that if you throw a "Ball" out of screen real fast... it doesnt come back
i did that accidently once when i was fiddling with the stuff
But other than that, its a really good game
Keep up the good work mate!
What a shame there is so little content.
Visuals and sound were nice, and the controls worked well for the most part. In some cases I was trying to combine a pair of items and the game went on to merge a nearby one. The end result benefitted me after all -probably the items I was trying to merge didn't have any combination- but it felt inaccurate since I was clearly trying to connect different elements.
Hope you can keep updating it to show the full idea implemented. Good job!
Added bugfix that ensures that items cannot be placed outside of the screen area.
@wansou That shouldn't happen anymore! Thanks for pointing it out
But I still like it
All the best~
Graphics were nice, especially effects on picking up tiles and making combinations. Audio was simple but got the job done, and the music was nice.
More content would have been cool, but hey, 72 hours isn't very much time.
Great submission!
I do wish it was a bit longer, please please make a post-LD version!
One suggestion would also be to add tooltips of some sort on hover, to help identify the elements.
Thanks for submitting your game for me to play on my livestream!
