Really hard, the game has a difficult spike in the first challenge, and the jumps are a little too tight in my opinion.
The graphics and music are great! Really like the style.

Good controls and smooth gameplay. And realistic goose physics.

Interesting rage game but it doesn't really fit the theme.

I kept on dying to boulders, thank you for that frustration. There might be some scaling issues with your released build

I love it! the only thing that isn't that great is the controls... or maybe I'm just bad or something : )

Like people have been saying, it's hard but that is not necessarily bad. I liked how quick you could move but at the same time it was also somewhat frustrating sliding around so much.

Nice for people who really like challenges.
for me, the punishing level and floaty controls are a bit much.

Wow that is hard! Great graphics and audio. I would increase the gravity a bit, as the player is hard to control in the air.

I like hard plattformers and between the music, the art and the levels there is a fun game in there. What keeps me a bit from enjoying it further is the movement physics that can get frustrating at times. When pressing A or D agaisnt a wall a character will almost stick to walls, whle it can be hard to get a precise landing done. The length of the levels and the prospect of getting at least to the goose still kept me playing for quite a bit =)

And that cover art is just... :O

I had not enough endurance to play the second level. D: controls could be improved it felt a bit slippery. but otherweise great game!

Beautiful title screen and music! The controls are too floaty for the level of difficulty which made it a bit frustrating but maybe that was intentional? Nice work!

It was a bit too hard. I was also confused when the goose died off the screen and the level restarted. But it was fun trying to beat the levels.

That was hard! The controls feel a bit slippy for my taste, but it was fun! Good job!

The sound is the most impressive aspect of this game. I didn't like the characters transition to running, it seemed a bit on the fast side where as you'd be going a decent speed to extremely fast and would feel better with a little build up. Very good entry!

Holy crap I don't think I've ever been so annoyed playing a Ludum Dare game lol. I just kept forgetting the spots to go to every frickin time. It worked well though, and was fun to play even though I sucked at it. Kind of reminded me about a 1001 online game website game that I played so so so many years ago, that was super nice :)

Graphics and sounds were both decent, no complains there. Audio was a really good implication on when the rocks were about to come (or the spikes). Alltogether I enjoyed playing this really hard game and you guys did a good job on making it challenging yet fun! Very good entry, hopefully you guys keep making games!

Well the game is way too difficult for me. Control wise. The menu screen was amazing. I ended up staring at it for a while wondering how the game would be like but I have to say once you're in the game. The graphic quality drops down quite a bit and there's not this feel of... Continuity that i could have.

The spike are a bit janky. Right when you get to the second one it took me a while to understand that actualy, there is a part above the spike on wich they won't come out of the floor.
Then... Why are the spike so long ? It's useless they won't come out to kill you.
And there's nothing telling you wich surface got spikes, how long the spikes are going to be, and where to stand for them to not come out.
Your controls are actualy nice ( despite the fact that arrow keys somewhat works but are less efficient than wasd ) and I think that some more feedback to the player about where stuff is would be challenging enough since you have to do precise control to get to the end anyway.
I alos feel that the goose is a bit of an excuse to fit the theme more than a real gameplay element. But I didn't play the whole game to understand that. I just wish you could throw it away in its cage or float with it in the air or anything that makes the gameplay a bit different and more itneresting.

Other than those points, maybe you meant the game to be hard to read and to play. And that's fine. It's just not my cup of tea because to me there's difficulty and there's being unfair. And having an unfair experience is not something i'm looking forward to.

But I seem a bit harsh with all that. I have to say there is level design, there is difficulty and there is the use of sound to support feedback and mechanism wich is rare and unique in a game jam. Even in a platformer wich is a classic go to gendra when making jam games.
Also the mood and the general ambiance was really nice and again, even if the key maping was a bit weird, the controls feels really nice to me and I would enjoy a system that is more my cup of tea with these controls. I would have try hard the hell out of that game.

I hope you find this constructive and not offensive by any means. My only objective here is to be helpful or interesting if nothing else.
Good luck for your next jams and see you around !
