Short but sweet! Superb pixel artwork and well implemented platformer mechanics. I quite liked the skull enemy that hops with its jaws at just the right rate to dodge your sword.

Awesome work! The art is extremely polished, and the platforming mechanics are on point. Only improvement I can think of would be more directions.

Beat it in 9 days. Probably took way longer than it should have. The art was great, the sounds were fine. I hated the controls though, they are pretty awkward. Mostly having the movement split between the two hands. <- -> to move and Space to jump, was just hard for me to get used to. And then using up arrow to interact with the two interactions, just didn't work for me.

That said, it was fun enough for me to keep trying despite getting utterly frustrated with the lack of idea for what to do, that I was able to complete the game.

Nice, great pixel art and interesting concept. Basic jump & attack gameplay felt really solid, but the "solutions" for the enemies & boss were pretty unintuitive, it felt like it just took trial and error to find them. Even when I "solved" the boss I didn't realize it dropped a key at first, since I was running pretty fast through the screens and the key vanishes when you change screens. Might be nice if there were some hints about what to do as well. Took me until day 12 to finish it. Still a cool experience, good work.

@adhesion Hello, thanks for the review, as you said, it is indeed based on trial and errors, the idea is to force the player to think of a less "conventional" solution to progress, and so isn't meant to be completed fast on first play, also there are some hints, but they wont give the answer right away; I'm glad you took the time to play until the end!

Ha! What a beautiful innovative clever game.

And it's connected to the theme in a clever way.

Really like that it takes a few instances of super outside-the-box thinking.

Took me 5 days to complete :)

The only thing it was missing was some music.

Good job!

Very fun game, took me a while to figure out the "solution", but it was really clever. The reason that it probably took so long is because you're almost "conditioned" to expect that the solution is just "force" or "timing" from other games in this setting, but this game us much more creative, and makes for a more engaging adventure.

This has to be one of my favorite ls 47 games so far! The graphics were beautiful, and the idea executed well. Loved the subtle hints, and thoroughly enjoyed figuring out the solution. One attempt I tried to ping-pong the energy ball back, didn't work out well XP

8 days for me :D

One of the best games I've played from this jam. I beat the game in 8 days.
Each of the puzzles had a beautiful aha moment when I finally figured them out.
