Hey, it seems that your downloads are missing the data file for your Unity game. Make sure when you build your game to put it in a folder and zip it into a compressed file, that way all your assets are preserved. As is your game doesn't seem to run.

Your game looks fun from the screenshots and I would love to try it, but you uploaded the .exe by itself alongside some other files that can't be worked with. Since your using unity and distributing on itchio like me, here is my reccomendation:

In 'Build' Change the target platform to WebGL. Click 'Switch platform' then 'Build' and select a folder with nothing in it. That folder should have some folders in it, and a file called 'index.html'. Zip EVERYTHING here into a zip file, this is your built game!

Now on itch, instead of uploading a windows executable, you can select 'HTML' in 'Kind of project'. Just upload the zip file from the previous step, and you should be good!

I had viewport issues, which you can adjust in build settings. Make sure you tell itchio to detect viewport size automatically. Respond to this with @polypickle and ill help more if needed!

I'm having the same problem of downloading the game. Zip things up and upload them to itch.io it should work

Your game upload is incomplete. You should zip up the exe, dll and the data folder. @ me when you fix it so I can check it out!

Good: Love the opening and end sequences, definetly the highlight for this one! I actually would love to play around as that fish from the beginning, the water looked cool. The flag effect on the ship was nice. The theme is a good match as well.

It felt a little unresponsive to pickup the pollutions. It might be more fun if you can pick them up instantly, but increase the spawnrate to compensate. The requirment to hold spacebar was pointless, it might be better if the pollution was automatically picked up without an input, its not really an 'active' proccess and there is no reason not to hold spacebar all game.

Also, I think there is a technical issue with the dimmensions, pollution was spawning partly offscreen and I think the healthbar was cutoff as the game lasted some time after it seemed to be empty, and it was touching the edge. Might be worth googling around to avoid the issue in future projects.

The fog and the rain make it more interesting :) While holding space there should be a feedback, a animation or something like this. Putting the explanation in the intro was a good idea, a lot of people (me included xD) often don't read the instructions :D

The 'lose' animation is really well done, epic planetary zoom-out. Moving. I liked the sailboat's flowing flags that was a nice touch.

It wasn't really clear that pressing space bar was doing anything at all, pollution would disappear whether or not i press space bar. Am I supposed to hold it down all the time? Mash it repeatedly when I'm over pollution?

I use a 4K display and the health meter was partially off the screen, and sometimes pollution would spawn offscreen.

Also the tunes were nice!

@shootboots thanks, I downloaded it and it worked. Curious, was the title screen an experiment of water sim? Hehe, I like how it had nothing to do with the rest of the game. I had trouble cleaning up stuff. Some of it spawned off screen. The cleaning up of pollution did not always seem to work. I like the application of the theme. The music fits and really creates a sense of feeling in the game. The boat movement feels good, it makes me wish there was more map to sail around. My favorite thing was the music cutting out and the fog rolling in. That took me by surprise. Thanks for letting me play your game!

Some progress or goal is lacking. And also, it seems, it is impossible to lose in the game) More interested in the simulation of water in the menu

Cool attempt, definitely needs more feedback though. Can't tell if the space bar is actually doing anything!

Nice game, maybe not enough impact with meteo hazard i guess. I don't understand why i need to use space to clean if i need to get it down all the time tho. And the music is nice, but .. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZeZ75gM9p4 , nah dude.

Love the intro and outro <3. Maybe there should be a point system, even though the game is more story-based since the little boat can't save the whole planet from all the pollution. Very innovative, maybe you can add options for boat upgrades in the future?

That intro! I was so pleasantly surprised. The gameplay is simple and to the point. I do not think I have any chance to keep the sea clean in this game, if that would be possible. The atmospheric effects are a nice touch as well. I am missing a feedback mechanic that indicates I am doing the right thing, especially since the nuclear waste takes a long time to process. Well done!

This is a surprisingly effective game for increasing environmental concerns.
I would have liked to see some extra feedback for the player and some objects spawned too close to the edge of the screen so I couldn't clean them up, but I really like the concept. Well done ^^

Nice idea. I feel like some feedback on cleaning is needed. Also seems like some polution spawns outside of my screen.

I kinda liked the tune. To be honest its not really challenging and there is no brain involved in cleaning. But I like the idea

Had some pollution spawn outside of reach on the edge of my screen.
I like the idea of the game. I could envision some kind of interaction that allowed you to recover as well and have a timer / score running for competition with friends :D Keep creating <3
