Any chance to submit a Windows version? The art looks inviting.

Didn't beat the game, the farthest I went is to about 40% HP of the Fish remaining, but I really enjoyed it.

The intro and game over animations are really impressive. The mechanic is simple but very interesting to play: Nearer you are to the Fish leads to higher risk and difficulty. The lilypads add so much variation to the gameplay. Well done making such a brilliant one-button game!
I also like the details everywhere. The signal circle expanded from the Fish when it is about to bash is really nice for the gameplay experience. Layers of the background music varies depending on the game state and the distance between the Spider and the Fish, which is even better.
The character designs and the animation of the Fish are superb, but I don't think the animation of the Spider is as good. Maybe because it is not as smooth as other visual elements in the game.
It is very tricky to hit multiple bullets in a row, otherwise only one bullet can hit per round. I think the game is a bit harder than the level I could beat.

Overall although there are some minor flaws in my opinion, I still enjoyed the game very much. Congrats!

About the windows build: we've been progressing with some long and tedious afterwork debug sessions, but while we got compiling and loading the resources to work, we are facing crashes. We were originally optimistic about getting a build quickly but there might be a longer delay :/

Certain amount of satisfaction seeing a game with Linux only for a change.

The artwork is lovely. The way spider only shoots *backward* makes for an interesting twist, and managing that plus navigating the environment with the strange circular movement and lily pads which are sometimes helpful and sometimes *not* was a good challenge.

Took me a while to realize the fish had more than one distinct move, after which I was able to complete it, but fish health might be a little high. That sucking-in move is tough.

Also, a note that I get ` git@gitlab.com: Permission denied (publickey).` when attempting to git clone, I had to download the zip. Extra friction might turn people off trying to install.

I like the idea and I love the graphics and the premise but I had a hard time with the mechanics. Maybe add a tutorial where you can practice how to control the spider.

I want to like this game. I love the 2D animation, and I love boss-driven games, but I just don't get this one. It doesn't feel intuitive or fair. The movement and shooting feel more like a restraint than a challenge, and the lilypads just feel random. The fish's hitboxes aren't where I expect. Most of my deaths seemed to be because I get physics'd into the fish by a lilypad. I just kept finding myself in positions where I was unable to meaningfully react to the fish's attacks, and I'm not sure how to look at the game so as to avoid getting in trouble. Also, I can confirm that the windows build works fine on my Win10.

Really good art work, the fish animation is really good. The gameplay is hard, but simple. Work more in animations its a great work.

I liked the graphics, the intro cutscene was cute too! I definitely didn't expect the spider to be vulgar too haha. The controls are a little unforgiving, some better way of dodging or a way to choose which direction you're shooting could be nice, I couldn't ever get the fish down to less than half health. Solid entry overall though!

Loved the music and art.

The gameplay is basically the final boss of a very hard game right from the start. The controls were very innovative actually.

I wasn't able to kill the boss in like 30 tries. Still, 4/5 from me.

Nice! I had to install a dll file to run it, but after that there was no problem. Graphics were really good, and music was pretty neat too, though the game over music got a bit repetitive. At first it took a while to understand the game, and when I saw the spider shooting non-stop, I thought the game broke or something. As some people said, it would be nice to have a tutorial or something like that. But after all that, the game was pretty fun! It was hard, but fun, having to aim at the fish and moving with the lily pads. Overall, could be a bit better, but really good. Congratulations!
