TrainLoop by Malle

interesting concept. at first sight it was difficult to understand but after that it is ok.

This game is quite reasonable. It took me three levels to understand the connection between train color, track color, and winning, but once I did I found it to be an enjoyable puzzle. Good job!

This is the kinda puzzle game I'd actually buy!

Love it!

Only feedback would be that the trains are too fast sometimes and you fail because you couldn't inspect the level upfront. But overall, nice game!

Nice game! I got the connection of trains and track because of your description :) It was fun to play your game, although some music was missing. Also liked your design.

Interesting idea! It is enjoyable and is overall a nice puzzle game. The graphics aren't the best, I don't like the inconsistency between the ground textures and the trains, but the gameplay is really fun!

Any tips on getting Unity Files under itch.io's size limit? Frustrating.....

This was quite a neat idea. It's fun to watch the trains loop around, it's satisfying in the sort of way that one watches tilt-shift photography or table dioramas.

Entering a level and immediately being on a collision course is a bit jarring - perhaps in a further-developed version, there could be a "3-2-1" countdown before the trains begin to move?

I'd encourage you to keep developing the color scheme of the game - having green markers on green grass visually can be hard to quickly parse. I also don't believe I heard audio, unless I loaded the game incorrectly.

It's fun to steer the trains - I think some starting levels with nice straight lines and more direct curves could keep things visually clear for less skilled players like me, as well. Well done!

Satisfying puzzle game! It was a lot of fun trying to figure out what was going on, and then how to solve the levels :) One thing I would suggest would be pausing the levels at start so the player can spend some time getting ready.
Nice entry!

@usenrame Yes, we used Bezier Splines to define the rail segments, the mesh is then generated along the Splines :)

This is really fun to play. I thought the theme interpretation was spot on, and I like the fact that you can't pause at the start of a puzzle. I enjoy the excitement of figuring out a solution under pressure, and also getting to see the explosions makes losing less disappointing. The contrast between the ground textures and the trains is weird, but I think it gives the game a unique feel, and I don't think that's a bad thing in this case. Very cool, I passed a lot of time with it

I like it, solving puzzles under pressure has a certain unique tension to it. The only thing I'm missing would be some kind of speedup feature for when you feel like you have everything under control and want the trains to move a bit quicker :) Well done!

Nice concept, the puzzles work well and become really challenging ! The ground texture felt a bit too noisy and distracting for me especially with the rail pattern on top. Was fun to play :)
