Great fun!
The gameplay was engaging and fun and the artwork was superb. I kept seeing little details that just added to the overall polish of the game, my favourite is ammo the indicator on the ship.
The difficulty is madness haha
Some parallax on the background stars would be a great touch.
Overall good concept!
I found the controls a bit hard to use, mostly aiming and turning around. Aiming with the mouse might feel more natural, with keyboard just for movement.
Gameplay got repetitive rather quickly though, and the turning was a bit finiky (kept over shooting).
visual feedback, audio feedback, different enemy types, all make for some really awesome gameplay!
I really enjoyed it! I like the upgrade system and having the enemies come in waves, it lets the player take a much needed breath. Overall very satisfying and fun!
The AI for both allies and enemies never seemed stupid, that is very impressive.
Art is beautiful and consistent across varied enemies and allies. Sound and effects are impactful, even if sounds do get a bit repetitive by the end.
The ship turn speed feels a bit too fast for proper aiming, but the game is forgiving enough its not much of an issue, especially when you unlock the autobots.

Overall it was an engaging and enjoyable experience.
