A fun game jam for me. This is my second time participating Ludum Dare, and it feels really satisfying.

At first I thought, "well, screw that theme"... but I gave it time - and the ideas came. I'm getting into a habit of giving one full day just for exploring ideas. No regrets.

LUDUM DARE 47 WHOOOOOO~!

Well I thought we tortured hamsters in the game my team made, but that was nothing compared to how many times I just killed your poor hammo! Haha. Fun though! Good adherence to theme and smooth controls once I got the hang of them.

This is amazing. Played for about 15 minutes and only just about got a lap, but it was still an absolute blast! Something so addicting about the gameplay, even though absurdly difficult! and the music was so funky, though it's a shame it kept going back to the start on each reset, it meant I barely got to hear the funkier parts during gameplay. regardless, great job!!

Cool ideas, I have never seen such races. Unfortunately, I could not figure out the controls.

Really good! I love the unique gameplay- it feels very QWOP like. I will say, it's not that hard to make your soundtrack persist between runs, which would have made the audio more compelling. Also, the skybox was a little box-standard- I would have even preferred a solid color to unity's basic skybox. That being said, despite the fact I never completed a lap, this game had me restarting over and over, laughing the entire time. Great job, all in all!

Haha yeah great minds think alike ! I like how yours is 3d and has the hamsters racing in a loop, it adds a lot more challenge to going around the loop. I’ve died so many times just trying to get around the loop lol! Great job man

Fun but difficult to control. Congrats on the game!

The additional racer really made this game. I'm not sure it's possible to beat him!
Difficult but fun.

Literally couldn't get around once. The AI styled on me so hard I died every time. Really funny, bad controls, good game.

Hahaha! Pretty funny! Nice theme. Once I got the hang of moving it almost felt like I was drifting around the track. Nicely done.

I absolutely suck, but felt like it was my fault and not the games, super fun little game.

It's so frustrating but also quite fun! It's pretty hard to stay on track. I only got 3 Laps as my highscore. No idea how to beat the NPC. Cool idea with some fun graphics.

ha neat little game - incredibly difficult, though :joy: I can't beat that other hamster :grimacing: maybe I take a leaf out of some of the other commenters books and kill the competition

My one complaint would be that the background music is a bit repetitive. Other than that, it's a wonderful little game, congrats!

too bad we can't do it again whenever we want, but otherwise it's an interesting game.

Wow, that's a great take on the theme! We did a hamster game too but yours is really original. What is missing from the game is more complicated racing tracks and ability to play with a friend. In any case, I really enjoyed it! Well done!

Love the take on the theme. I too went with the hamster wheel.. but it's an experience, and not a challenge with skill building as you try again like yours. Great job on completing your 2nd Jam! Great models, fun challenge, fitting and cute music!
