Loopity by oceanm

[raw]
made by oceanm for Ludum Dare 47 (JAM)

Loopity was created for Ludum Dare 47 with the theme "Stuck in a loop". Loopity is a rather simple game that's all about timing. Change the game settings all you want to change how you want to play. The more difficult you make the game the easier it will be to gain points! 0c5aa33fc1c176c9f4e93b66d04fcca8.jpg 6f20412775cf8fb75cb46786e3e04a9c.jpg

I like it! It sure gets hard very quickly though!

I think it would be better if I dont have to switch between keyboard and mouse to restart the game though :)

Nice and polished with good punch but not too much
I like the sound and the sfx are really nicely mixed, fun little rhythym game!

Nice little game. Looks and sounds stylized and great, found no bugs or problems. Laughed at the 100% multiplier :D

Pretty nice. One thing that bothered me was that the settings reset after each fail. Also, the thing is that every speed multiplier above 0 is a suicide in regards to score (since it's getting harder exponentially), although 1% was fun :) Oh, and I liked the music!

I like the fact this game is nervous.
Sound effects, and visuals fits well.
The only real downside to me is the setting screen after each attempt.
It forces a mouse click and pause the game which in my opinion breaks the fluidity.
Nice little game.

The art and music styles suit the game well, I feel? It's simple, but it does what it sets out to do.

I did find it a little confusing that (assuming I understood the mechanics correctly) the moving the top slider *left* makes the game harder, but moving the bottom slider *right* makes the game harder? I think it would be more intuitive to the player if they changed in the same direction.

I love the music in this game, very poppy and happy! I'm very interested in the main mechanic, and I appreciate the fact you let us define our own difficulty, but I'm really thrown off by how long it takes to restart the game. When I get in the zone, I want to just keep playing and playing, not slowly fade out and meticulously readjust the settings each time.
