(pun bad but intended) \nSo unique! First of all, the obvious - I really liked your Art\/Leven esign\/Mood Style which I would describe as \"Polished Minecraft clone, but not really\". The controls feel like Minecraft which is great because a lot of games have the weakness that their specific controls can kind of kill the fun at first, with your game you immediately know whats going on controller wise. \nI have to admit I didn't really have a clue what to do for a good 2 minutes but that didn't stop me from stumbling and jumping around and adore the stunning world you created! \nThe gameplay feels very minimalistic and not very punishing and together with the atmosphere and mood it gave me a serious Journey vibe, which I really enjoyed :) \nMaybe add an indicator of the health of the cube on the top of the screen? It's kind of inconvenient to have to drop the cube to be able to do that, also mayb you could add mechanics where you have to use the cube to progress, for example if you'd need it to open doors\/areas, defeat foes or something, so you have more reason WHY you're carrying it arund (other than, you know, keeping it alive ^^) \nAll in all it was really enjoyable and great, I can also imagine this being superfun with controller support! :D ","likes":2,"format":"md"},{"author_name":"studiocurtis","author_uid":"1191790","time":"2020-04-23T01:43:49Z","epoch":1587606229,"modified":1587606229,"text":"Thanks for the response Itch.io and for uploading the Mac version. I did just check out your video, which documents the game really well and coveys the experience fully. I think the visual design is great, and the colors and shapes evoke a strong sense of an other-worldly atmosphere. One suggestion is to adjust the players camera settings to give it a bit of buffer in the movement. The set up now (as seen in the video) has a hard-edged stop-start motion when you look around.
