A bullethell-kind-of game where you drive around on planet shooting robots. (Needs more time and polish but it is what it is)

Was a lot of fun! I was surprised by how long I managed to make it with all the bullets flying everywhere. The graphics were simple but effective. Only comments I have is that I'd love to know what the powerups did when I got them, some I could figure out but others I wasn't able to see much of a difference while trying to run around the bullets flying everywhere. Other than that, great job!

It was really fun ! I really liked the graphics, very simple but with all the effect added on the projectiles and the ennemies I found it beautiful
I don't fully understand what the powerups do, maybe you can add a little icon or some text to tell the player what they picked up
Good job !

Wow nice job! I like the graphics and the style! Also very fun however it gets boring after some time.

Simple kept graphics and a simple kept concept, but starts feeling repetitive at some point.

One question tho - how did you implement the round world? Is it a shader or did you define a sphere as the center of mass? Or have you implemented it in another way?

@feraligatr I placed a sphere mesh at (0, 0, 0) and rotated the player and translated the player along its y axis by the radius to make the player be able to walk around it. No shaders where used just a spherical coordinate system and math

Stuck in a sphere! Cool!

Nice graphics here. Controls, movements, feels and plays smooth (something rare in this ludumdare, sadly). A little repetitive tho (minor issue on fun factor).

For 3 days of work it's a very good entry 😁

Nice graphics! well thought out gameplay and is executed nicely, its a shame the game isn't more popular.

Hey, that was a really nice small game!
True, it needs polish, but it's clearly a workable prototype from which you can potentially grow the game into something bigger considering you did it all alone!

A really solid entry. It plays great. It looks great. I missed audio cause without it the drama is a little flat. Good work though

Cool gameplay and nice graphics, and I just scored 25400! Maybe it will be more fun to play if the player can shoot based on the mouse direction... ^_^

Graphics are pretty cool, and the game feel works really well ! With some different weapons and enemies, it would make a great game !

Super fun!

Nice idea for the theme. The gameplay is interesting since the bullets kinda curve around the world. I liked it. Graphics are pretty neat. It controls well, the movement is really smooth. Some tooltips for the powerups would've been nice.

Anyways, a solid entry. Great job!

Loved this one! Very similar to what I attempted, but I think I like yours more :) . Having the bullets curve around the world is cool!

Great Game, it had a really nice atmosphere, felt really cool to move about the planets surface.

There was no sound for me, but I see you opted out of the audio category. Sound would have given great feedback on all interactions(fire, hit, hurt).

I was pretty inaccurate with my bullets, found it difficult to line up shots. Cranking up the bounds of the bullet colliders would make it less punishing to inaccuracy.

Movement could have been tighter too as it felt like the drifting was detracting further from my shooting accuracy.

Graphics where cohesive and looked good. Would be nice if enemy and user bullets were different colors.

Overall a great job, the game has an ooey gooey core, just needs the chocolate shell.

This is actually very solid! Everything felt satisfying, especially driving across the looping world!
The projectiles were a bit overwhelming for me, but I can't put my finger on why that is. Maybe if the were a little less thick or had somewhat differing colours? I don't know.
Other than that, the only complaint would be that the game started playing with less and less fps as time was going on.

Cool entry all around though!

Ha ha, this game is so fun! I love how when you kill an enemy they just topple over. I managed to get 31000 the first time I ever played, and I'm wondering: do the collectible objects do anything?

@peace-of-cake-games When you pick up a powerup, you can just hold left mouse button to autofire
