Loopamonium by Unimaginable_Code_Studios

So, you are red... a square that is stuck in a world of loops. You want to get out and break out the loop (you will know more as you play). The thing is that each level/stage requires you to loop through and go back to the start multiple times in order to pass it(Go in tutorial in the game to know more). Also, there is a narrator... he helps in telling your journey. Anyways, the point is that you are stuck in a loop and you want to break out. On the way you will meet friends in which will assist you in the journey or complete the level for you!

Hi ! I think your can't be played on safari. The game never began for me at least. Did you try to post it on itch.io maybe ? Congrats for finishing the game anyway :)

Yep same, the game doesn't load for me. Also, from the description of your game, it sounds quite a lot like what I made for the compo. Weird coincidence :o

I played the download version. It’s a nice start, the controls are good and the camera has a nice feeling !
I did not manage to finish level 2, not sure what I have to do, sorry :/ Keep up the good work and you’ll become a really good dev ! :)
If you want, you can play my game (it’s a very difficult one though) ;)

Thanks a lot... appreciated @dotsquare! I dont wana spoil the game for everyone else but I can hit you to what to do in level 2. At the end... there should be a yellow line. Its a loop point so when you touch it you go back to the start. Keep looping and something will happen in order for u to finish the level.

I had a similar problem with 2020-version of Unity. I had to go into the settings of the Player and disable compression to make it work. That hasn't been an issue in earlier versions of Unity.

I played the game and got stuck at level 3. Didn't really understand what the green cube could do to help me.

I saw on your news post that you are 12 (same age as my son) so very well done! I wished I had tools like Unity when I was 12 and wanted to make games.

Thanks for the feedback @smiley! BUT THANKS A LOT FOR PROPOSING A SOLUTION TO MY LOADING ISUEE WITH WEBGL! I see you are stuck but hopefully had fun playing. Thank you soo much again! Also if you are wondering in level 3, you cannot get to the end because of the loop point (yellow thing). Well there is a button which green has to press in order to destroy that loop point so you can continue and get to the end. But that button is inaccessible so you need to keep looping (when ever you loop, someting in the level sometimes changes). If you loop enough times, the green cube will be able to get to the button making it possible for the red cube to get to the end part.

Thanks @paulhudson! I know right! My voice recordings are funny and cheesy! Nice that it was easy for you... (mechanics are a little hard to grasp)! Anyways. Yes, that sneaky webgl does not wana work with me. Trying to make that stubborn web version work though. I am going to work on it tonight and thanks to @smiley, I have a solution that might work

This was a decently fun game :) I enjoyed figuring out how to break out of the loops, and also liked the idea of the different shaped characters and what not. I did like the camera follow for the most part but sometimes it felt a little slow, other than that, good game!

Very good submission for someone your age! Keep at it, you'll do great things if you dont give up. That being said, the game was mediocre. My favorite part was the voice acting :)

Very excellent. You're on your way to a future in game design. I definitely picked up on the Thomas Was Alone vibes (if that's what you were going for. If not go play that game!) As far as level design goes, it's getting there and Ii understand you were going for the idea that you have to trust that what you're doing is accomplishing something but gamers can be fickle. I would add some sort of indication that after a certain number of resets something changes. Anyway, great job!

@jmoocow2003 It's nice how you enjoyed my game. Thank you for your feedback on camera movement!!! Thank you so much!

@blue-pin-studio Thank you so much! Glad you loved the voice acting

@rhoka Yes!!! You saw! I was going for the Thomas Was Alone vibes. Also thanks for the heads up on level design. Also did you notice a slight bit of The Stanley Parable vibes, cause The Stanley Parable is what inspired the whole voice acting thing. Thank you for your feedback and thank you soo much in general!

Good luck on your game guys!!!!
