I liked it, it is a fun twist on the theme and well executed with that. I would have like mouse controls along with arrows and it was moderately annoying that a lot of the words that I was in the middle of typing disappeared. But despite that great job!

It seems really original and I'll be willing to try it. Sadly it's windows only right now. Send me a message if you upload something that runs on Linux or html

This was pretty fun! I always like typing games and this one was no exception. The game is a bit too easy but this is still a great submission.

@hollebecq-baptiste Thanks. You can buy other spells in the grimoire on the left side by using points. You get points with kills (farmer - 1, knight -3).

Been a while since I've played a typing game, let alone a jam typing game. This was great, though I agree with Tommeh's sentiment it was a bit too easy for my taste, but great job!

This was hands down the best typing game i've ever played. very addictive core game loop, and actually fun to continue!
My congratulations on creating such a fun game with such a game genre!

Enjoyed it. Got bugged several times where it would not accept input and i had to restart. Would be nice if the upgrades were available through typing as well. Would pay good money for a full scale typing RTS

It's really fun! But eyes get tired from jumping up and down - my army got stuck at bottom respawn point and I was forced to look up for spell name and down to corpse name - got tired quite fast.

I'm a horrible inaccurate typist so this was unbelievable difficult for me. I never got to the point where I could trial different units. The sound was good but as I sucked it sounded like my keyboard was made of breaking bones. Would be cool to see this with a bit more dev time.

Doesn't work with non-QWERTY keybords, sadly.
Won't rate, cause i couldn't test, but seems cool.

Strong Magica vibes. I would like to play a beefed-up version of this too.

Maybe I've missed it, but there should be a key to "reset" the word or some indication of whenever you can press the next correct button, or you have to delete and retry.

I hope there would be uploadable dictionaries, like common shell commands and arguments (=

@ic-rainbow Backspace resets the word and there's some sound cues if you're mistyping. Should have done a better job of communicating it visually.

I agree, custom dictionaries would be pretty cool :).

Very well done, performance suffered for me on WebGL but I still had fun. I think this has potential, I also enjoyed the graphics and music. I would combine the controls with mouse so I can type with one hand while doing useful stuff with mouse. Other than that just performance improvements.

Very interesting idea! It was fun and engaging. I think for now it is too hard, especially infinite spawn of enemies. I'd like to destroy their buildings like in conventional RTS or predominant location of enemies on a map. Also, autoreset after incorrect type would be great! Good luck!

weird concept but pretty fun, I couldn't see anywhere on screen that told me how many points i had so when i could afford the new spells.. could possibly have done a bit better in explaining what i had to do without reading the intsructions, as like most people probably i try to dive into playing and then when i get confused go back to the instructions, but hey. Might be better to to be a bit more zoomed in so could watch the carnage a little better and maybe someway of incentivising resurecting a particular skeleton, otherwise it gets to be a bit just type any of the words it doesn't really matter which and also they start obscuring each other and sometimes dissapear while you are typing them which is a bit annoying.. anyway good job.

@automatonvx Thanks, all valid carticism, will fix it in a post jam version. The points are the score shown in the grimoire.

Very nice game, really well made and kinda addicting. Would love a camera that follows the army so the player can go ham on his keyboard and focus on typing alone. Awesome Soundtrack and solid art for what i can see from that distance ;-). Paying with score for new spells was odd but not really a problem.

@Croped Thanks :). During development I initially made the "following" camera, but in a lot of cases it couldn't cover the whole army so I changed it to be controlled by the user instead. I plan to do an improved version of it for a later release. It will also have an amazing new feature never seen before, called "The Zoom Button".

Pretty cool game, I like the idea a lot! The graphics were very good too! (might wanna add more animations if you continue to work on it :))
I feel like gameplay could have been a bit more balanced, especially what happens if you mistype something, I think you should make it automatically that everything resets and the player can continue typing. The way it is now, it just takes too long to correct ones mistakes and can become a bit frustrating as there also is no indicator what exactly you did wrong, which means you have to guess (which is cool if when you do a mistake it just resets and as a punishment you have to type everything again, but together with no indicators and the player taking too long to find out hat to do now (sometimes I hit backspace twice, sometimes once worked?) it's more a nuisance than a challenge to be honest. Also once I already had a mighty army of the undead, which seems to have wandered off, never to be seen again? :(
A very cool entry for 3 days, hope you continue to work on it :)) Good job!
