Fun idea, but if you click restart the alien asks for nothing and the game becomes unplayable. Also I think a little more time is necessary for the items to be collected in time.

Brilliant graphics, they're consistent and the font goes really well with them! Game felt good, sometimes I struggled to hit the jump button at the right time (probably just me though). Overall I enjoyed it!

Was a pretty good game. Found the controls a little hard to handle at times. After one play through and hitting retry the game broke which was disappointing, but still a fun game

There could have been a bit more time, sometimes it felt like there was no way to be fast enough. The idea is nice though, and the art looks good.

Art looks great and I like the idea. I think that the amount of time to grab the items needs to be increased though and maybe decrease as the game goes on to provide some progression. Also the fact that you jumped higher on the angles was confusing to me, but fun! Good work on this entry!

Was fun. Controls are pretty tight, and it'd be nice if the alien ate faster, so I didn't have to wait (or if it got hungry slower). On 2nd play though no items spawn and he doesn't wanna eat anything.

The pixel art is really great and controls felt tight. However there's a grave bug where upon restarting, no food spawn and renders the game unplayable. Also, time is never enough to get the food and I end up losing.

@zeppelingames @zechw @tony-artz Thanks for all the feedback! We really appreciate it. That bug is now fixed in both the Windows and WebGL versions of the game. However, the solution was really inelegant and it caused a bunch of errors. Luckily they don't appear to break the game  should have a proper solution done tomorrow. Regards, -Elnu

The controls are very simple and cleans (Good idea the corner slope to jump). Good pixel art and Music. The action is a little bit repetitive but we don't expect lot more for a jam. Congratulation! my best score 143 sec :)

Pretty fun, when panic sets it makes getting jumping right harder. Came up with a strategy and managed to survive 202 seconds.

Nice little game. I liked the simplistic art style, which reminds me of Knytt Stories, one of my favourite games :)

Only lament is that game starts out hard as nails. It could gradually get more difficult so player can get up to speed (maybe it does get even more difficult when you play longer, I didn't get too far). Also I don't know if there will be new stuff brought to table over time.

A nice and simple concept with cute pixel art (i approve!). I thought the controls / camera could have been a little tighter, and I didn't notice that the wrong food was making me lose health. Perhaps if there was some negative audio / visual feedback other than the bar decreasing, or if the bar was just one long bar rather than multiple bars segmented by hearts, I would have noticed sooner. The jump ramps were a nice idea, i would like to see this expanded out, maybe with a few variations on level design with multiple stages, beyond the endless mode you have here. Thanks for the game, great job!

@adamcyounis Thanks so much for the feedback! The game could have been a bit more clear about what its mechanics are. The wrong food doesn't make the alien lose health, it just doesn't get accepted. The bar on the top shows how much time you have until the alien loses a heart from hunger. Is there a recap of your playtesting stream anywhere, by the way? I had to go to sleep before I got a chance to watch you play our game. Regards, -Elnu

There are currently two known bugs that I'm currently trying to fix. The first one is that the scores are broken after the first game, and the second is that sometimes the pickups fly off screen. Please do not post your score if it is not on the first playthrough.

I really like the flow of animation and motion, plus the art style gave it a nintendo vibe, the audio can be a little repetitive but its fitting.. good entry!

The pixel art graphics are done very well. Congrats for finishing your game on time. It looks like it might have taken some time to get everything working right. You've got a couple of game mechanics, such as the speed strips and the scavenger hunting that were done perfectly. With that said, the game content seems to be very thin. I only experienced one level and it appeared to be somewhat small. Best of luck in the game jam.

Very nice graphics, and overall feels quite polished. Unfortunately, there were what I think some pretty major bugs on the Mac Firefox HTML5 version that made it pretty hard to play. At least half the time when I grabbed fruit it would just kind of disappear off the screen (as if it were falling through the floor), even if it was the fruit I needed (instead of feeding the guy it would fly off). Not sure if that was intended, but it would force me to avoid fruit he didn't need at the moment (easier said than done because the fruit was often off camera) because if I prematurely grabbed the fruit there would often be nothing to grab at all.

@eli-delventhal Thanks for playing! A bunch of people mentioned the issue with the flying fruit, and it is definitely not intended. The only issue is that I haven't been able to replicate the issue, either on the Windows or WebGL builds.

Also, leaderboards are now working in the HTML5 version in edition to the Windows version! I've stopped using Dreamlo for various reasons and I'm now using my own server.

Dang! Well let me know if I can play a debug version and send some logs or anything. Hate those cannot repro bugs.
