Feed The Fire by Nuanda79
The forest is a cold and dark place at night and you must “keep the fire alive” until dawn. With a small electric torch you have to search the woods looking for something combustible to throw into the bonfire to not let the flame go out.

Great job thoe, really solid and polished game.
Music is cool, sound effects are cool, gameplay too, and so on...
Really great job, it's fun and fit perfectly with theme
Overall, this was a pretty cool entry! Simple mechanics that work to make a quite entertaining little experience. Very well executed overall.
But for the flashlight, I wouldn't say no to a bar that indicates the remaining light time (or something like that).
Also damn... this forest is full of things c':
:purple_heart: :dart: :frog:
The only thing that would make it better is even more weird things to burn!!
I agree with @tatetate about the flashlight recharging being annoying and perhaps there being a better way to do it. :)
The fact that what was in the colored containers was randomized at the beginning didn't seem that interesting to me, mostly just annoying.
Mashing space to charge the flashlight felt good because of the sound.
Well done!
Great work.
Graphics and audio are great and fit the game really well! Game feels really polished and I like the lighting effect of the game!
Good game for mobile device imho. Well done :v:
Some items that I thought should be flammable weren't, which was a little frustrating.I'm also not sure the flashlight running out was really all that engaging, but something could probably be done there to make it more fun.
Nice work overall!
It's a good choice to not put the alien in the fire. But I wish there was more to do. Just grabbing stuff and put on the fire, once you drain out all the possible objects is not a engaging core-loop mechanic.
SFX are a bit annoying overall (the only two I liked were "Oh noo" and the fire sounds)...
Graphics is nice and cute.
You should tell somewhere how to recharge the battery of the light torch. but the way you recharge, feels a bit ... off. I would prefer as collecting batteries around and... don't know, mount them in the torchlight ? As I distractor/minigame inside the game.
Well, it was a jam, so the scope was small enough, and I actually had fun playing it :) Thanks for the entry
I didn't remember that Simpsons episode! ahaha
How to recharge the flashlight is written in "How to play" however we can certainly find a more effective system to recharge it! thanks for the advice!
we are already planning new game modes and enrichments. We consider our little game a base from which to start to make something a little more elaborate.
I hope we will succeed
Also as others have said I sometimes didn't agree with you what would make the fire burn or not, I think aliens would actually be great fuel, just look at my game haha.
Simple game but I enjoyed it for some time.
Graphics and music is good, the different size torch for the different levels make a whole lot difference, and I like how the different things have a separate effect on the fire. It wasn't completely clear when new items would appear, but eventually I started burning shoes just to get some new ones. Tactics, innit.
Quite enjoyed that - easy to understand but took a while to beat hard. Well done.
Maybe instead of pitch black, a grey background with outline of trees can be better, I guess in terms of eye strain. But overall well done!
A nice solid searching mechanic. Cool graphics when they are actually visible, and random aliens which apparently don't burn very well. Good job overall.
The game feels nice and is pretty polished. I liked the clear visuals and audio feedback.
The gameplay is very simple, yet correct balance makes it interesting. The lamp battery mechanic is also a very good idea. Simple and breaks the rythm a bit when needed.
I loved the "oh no!" sound when putting some water on the fire. my goal on the next runs was actually to find water to hear it again :fire:
Thanks for the game!
